I feel like the devs for space marines 2 saw the comment section about space marines 1 ending, saying Leandros broke the rule in the codex, where if you find suspicions of heresy from your brothers, you need to report to your chapter Chaplain, not to the inquisition. So, they decided to make Leandros a Chaplain in 2.

Hard Disagree Leandros went against the codex by bypassing the chaplain when reporting titus straight to the inquisition. Hes a Bitch who sold out his brothers. WE even have a term for people like him in the current day Military. He's a Blue Falcon I'E Buddy Fucker.

Rigid idealism is literally the easiest thing to corrupt. Maybe Leandros becomes disillusioned with the Inquisition failing to meet his standards, and denies Titus' help.

God Leandros is unbearable, even the way he says “summoned by the Primarch” when Titus meets him in the second game sounds like he hates Guilliman or suspects Guilliman of being tainted and corrupted by Chaos. The dude needs to be humbled and badly.

@@Utopiaa887 chapter master for sure. I’m not too knowledgeable of the rank orders, but without a doubt Chapter Masters are the highest rank a space marine can have in a chapter and honestly in general. There’s very few people in the imperium that can outrank a chapter master.
Leandros, give a break. Do not suspect heresy from Guilliman of all things. He literally saved the Ultramarines in Calth, saved Imperium twice and he is by far the best candidate to make Imperium great.

I tried it and instead of shaving my hairs like they were supposed to, my hairs jammed them up real good, resulting in my hairs getting pulled viciously hither and thither with a violence that was as shocking as it was painful. Oh, it was horrendous. I'm not sure if a cleg nut caused the incident, but the scream that tore from my mouth was heard by my now-ex girlfriend, who was downstairs at the time and likened my pitiful wail of distress to "a hyena on speed". My crack still hasn't healed two weeks later. 😢

But this was no 'ordinary' pain... Imagine having tar smeared in your crack, top to bottom, then having it set before it's slowly pulled away, ripping your hairs and the skin away. Slowly. VERY slowly. That doesn't come close to the living horror of what I experienced, brother. Mortarion himself would howl like a banshee, I kid you not. Leandros is like Erebus in one way. He sees himself as the hand of fate, the chosen one. Only he can make the "right" decisions. Meybe he will meet Erebus one day and Leandros will see he is the other side of the same coin and it will finally make him realise he has been a complete tool all this time.
Leandros is actually had all the reasons to suspect Titus. Even inquisitor Thrax fall to Chaos. In universe it make sense. Titus behaviour is suspicious. Nobody can come in contact with warp energy and not get corrupted. Remeber that since The Horus heresy they have all the reasons to regard everything with suspicion. Primarchs fall to Chaos and corruption is very subtle.

The job of “watch everyone else in the legion at all times” is literally all he’s good for. It’s not really a punishment. It’s a necessity.
