SILVER CLAY PIPE NECKLACE FEATURED IN THIS VIDEO - I was recently given the most wonderful silver clay pipe charm necklace with a Thames garnet set into it. And with it came some silver onion bottle earrings! Wow. I am in love with these beautiful pieces of jewellery - and not just because they are miniatures of my favourite mudlarking finds. They are designed and made by Wendy Meister who takes commissions and who has at the moment a special 15% discount code : PIPEQUEEN on her site on folksy here: folksy.com/shops/clarkjewellery
Also there will be a special giveaway of a piece of Wendy's special mudlarking themed silver jewellery on the @si-finds youtube channel in the not too distant future and so you may want to go check out his great mudlarking youtube channel in antcipation of it!

I am always amazed by what you find in over 2000 years of trash on the Thames. Your ability to find such small objects in the mud has always amazed me. I live in northwestern North America and nothing much older than 150 years old can be found except for flint arrow heads. I remember seeing that the Thames was considered a dead river in the 1950's and now is a viable ecosystem that supports a whole variety of wildlife including whales. Good work. All the best to you

Sadly, those are commonly found near the trenches of the Western Front. And a friend of mine found one when he was cutting bulkheads and machinery out of USS Cole in 2001.

Your video brings a lot of life to many people who can't get out or are limited to their surroundings. Your findings with your excitement exhilarate many of us. It also incites many to have their own way to pick something they can also be used for the first time. Magnet fishing, metal detecting, as well as foraging places where there might be some treasure (not just limited to, buried treasure we associate w/a chest of gold), God Bless you and your videos and to those who will seek their own.
