1. Yep, it truly is. 2. It is spectacular. Amazing job as always. 3. They look amazing. Keep up the good work. Here are my ideas for OSM #79. Windows Codename Apeiron (September 16th, 2025) - by Microsoft It is a beta version of Windows Infinity, nothing else. Same sounds as Windows 12.1 MacOS 40 (November 1st, 2050) - by Apple This version of MacOS is known for being the first version to entirely focus on AI.
3. Great realistic-like designs, but the MacOS bootscreens and sounds since 23 make me think that MacOS ends support in the 30s. 4. Great sounds. Ideas: FacilaShell (Aug 1997) - by ECM (Eindhoven Computer Machines) The OS was named after the Esperanto word "facila", meaning easy, representing the easy use of the operating system. It was used by ECM's computers from 1997 to 2000. The startup sound is a car engine starting, and the shutdown sound is a door closing. The boot splash contains the FacilaShell logo over the background of Eindhoven, and the copyright credits on the bottom. Windows Hangzhou (May 2019) - by Microsoft Named after the city of Hangzhou, China, the theme for this Windows mockup is about Feng Shui and the unique architecture of the city. The sounds are the same with Windows 10. Yunik (Nov 2023) - by Rodareo R&D It is an AI-powered operating system with it's key feature, having the ability to create your own desktop interface for different users. The name came from the word "Yunik" being a homophone and sounded like "unique". The OS also contains an assistant that is powered by its in-house LLM. I inspired the idea from the film "Her" (2013).
@@ZebraManiac204 actually here's an easier way: there’s a plugin called „BitCrusher”, just select the audio file by using Ctrl+A, go to „Effect” and then go to „BitCrush”. Bits per sample should be 8, and the Sample Rate should be 16 kHz. And voilà! You have finally dithered the audio.

Hey does anyone know how to dither audio to get that authentic 90s feel? I’m currently using audacity to let you guys know.
Most 90's audio on computers was encoded in 22500Hz and 8 bits.
@@ChromaticAeternus Thanks Chromatic, but how do I get that encoding in Audacity?
