Janice, lots of us have experienced the SAME treatment from Azure. I have spoken to SEVERAL drivers whom have been pressured the same to: get rid of product, sell their product, find a place to get rid of their pallets. I also know SEVERAL drivers who left because of this treatment. I said to Azure that they needed to send emails to ALL new people that: schedules change, if you can not meet a delivery (with changes!) then Azure will not work for you, Azure is NOT a grocery store "pick-up lane". Advising your people to have an alternative "person" who can pick-up your order if you are not able to - should be possible. Volunteer Drop Coordinators should be able to charge a late pick-up fee, as that causes a loss of family time in order to meet the "now inconvenience person" if they choose. I'm proud of you Janice for telling the REAL Azure story and NOT just what is being shared on social media!

I sure do appreciate you, Melanie! I know that you personally know what it's like to be a drop coordinator. Your support and encouragement throughout this whole ordeal has been a blessing to me! 💕🥰💕🥰

Janice I would have said to Azure that if you had done what you should have and just left the stuff in the parking lot that person wouldn’t have anything to come back on you for! So Azure should be grateful that you kept their product in your kitchen so that it would not disappear from the parking lot! Or have gone to the birds which surely would’ve been the case had you just left it! You did your work as a volunteer coordinator and unless they start stating that you must take items that aren’t picked up home with you then it’s not your responsibility! Don’t worry about being sued it would be in a small claims court and you would win I’m positive! That person who owns a business should be shamed with his name and business being named!!! It’s unbelievable the way people treat others these days!!! I’m so sorry you are having to deal with all of this! The way people are sooo self entitled these days I’m not surprised at all by their attitudes! It’s disgusting though! I’m so glad you blocked that person and advised you would no longer be in communication with him. I wouldn’t even have given him your husband’s phone number I would have just referred him to azure.

My sweet hero, Janice, you have every reason to be disappointed in those people who literally bullied you into making a choice you shouldn’t have to make. I am ticked with Azure insofar as I’m ready to send an email to your states attorney general with a complaint about Azure in its bullying of a volunteer. You’re correct in saying you’re a volunteer, not an employee. The people, including Azure need to accept their own responsibilities. I wish I could visit with you personally in your summer kitchen, first pray for God’s grace for ❤️‍🩹, and allow you to vent as much as you need. You are one of the few people in the world who quite literally one of the BEST on the planet. I believe you made the best decision for yourself and your family and I wholeheartedly pray for you and my dear friend, Shirley, who got FIRED from our church as a 18 years volunteer! I was shocked as I am in your situation. Let us join our hearts and souls together to pray for forgiveness, hope and charity. Here it’s supposed to be a time of joy in preparation of the Holy Child around churches, neighborhoods, etc., and yet I feel we are experiencing a certain evil permeating our whole society. I dearly love you my sweet Janice and will continue to hold you up in my prayers and thoughts. With all the pieces of my broken heart 💔💔💔❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇😔😔😔

Janice you do not need to find a new coordinator. Tell azure you’re done. It’s their responsibility to find a replacement. As far as the guy trying to came after you I don’t think any judge in the world would think you did anything wrong. You handled it perfectly and in a nicer way than I would have.

Wow! What an unfortunate situation. You explained things very well. However, I don’t understand why you are responsible for finding a new drop coordinator. Like you said, you are a volunteer. I think with all you’ve been through and done for this company that they should find the new coordinator. You are a very thoughtful, caring person and certainly did all you could in this situation to make it doable. Please don’t let it disrupt any more of your precious time with your family. God bless you!❤

Girl, I am so proud of you. I'm glad to see you have had enough of rudeness and are standing up for yourself. Shame on Azure and the rude customer. One thing I disagree with, since you are a volunteer, you should not have to find a replacement. Let the wealthy business do that. You deserve so much better. Keep on fighting my friend.

This is why I pay for delivery to my home. Yes, it is expensive, but I can not guarantee that I could pick it up on time. My coordinator sent me a sweet message and said she would work with me, but I don't feel that I should put her out like that. I feel so bad that entitled people treat others like that. You deserve so much better.

I worked for a Chrysler dealership, and I forgot a part for a customer.
It was going to be a huge ordeal delivering the part the next day because they were far away.
I put part in my personal vehicle and delivered it after work on my own time.
Customer was very appreciative, but I was railed up one side, and down the other claiming what I had done was unprofessional by my supervisor.

Oh, I'm optimistic that you will be fine! I do want to convey that my time as a customer was mostly great. Even when I had issues with products arriving damaged, Azure never hassled me about giving a refund. It was just my time as drop coordinator that ended really badly. Perhaps a bad customer service rep or a day when management was grumpy - I don't know why, but it was enough to ruin a 15 year relationship with the company. I wish you the best though! :)

I don't order from Azure very often but it seems to go smoothly though they change the delivery time often on the day or day before which is usually not a issue for me since I try to keep a clear slate for the day of delivery. I have been a volunteer before for a non profit thrift store and you are definitely not appreciated. I think you handled it very professionally and have made a wise decision to step down. ❤I am so proud of you, Janice, for standing up for yourself and setting your boundaries. Being spoken to or treated in a condescending manner not to mention negative attitude is probably my biggest peeve. Getting a bonus or discount for volunteering to do a job is not worth being bullied. God is taking care of you and He will continue to supply your family’s needs. Your mental and physical health is much more important than any discount regardless of how much you receive. Dust the “job” off your feet and move on. One question….why do you have to try to find a replacement? Shouldn’t that be Azures responsibility? Bless you my friend. You’ve come a long way baby!!! So proud of you but also so sorry you’ve taken so much disrespect and abuse. 🙏🏻♥️

Unfortunately when people are only responding by email, sometimes their emails are misconstrued by the person reading the mail. I worked as a manager in retail, I always picked up the phone to call customers with concerns or problems. That way I could hear the tone of what they were saying and my response would always be empathetic, even if they were wrong. That being said, you are a volunteer and not being paid. Lesson learned, I think Azure needs to give you some sort of a discount as a volunteer drop person. I have seen the best of people and the worst of people in my job. It’s always that ONE person who rattles you to your core. Let it go, you’ll save yourself some aggravation. Sounds like Azure needs to be in communication with their driver at every drop off point. Perhaps that would help with any situations that arise. Much love to you and your family. ❤

I might have missed that part. I would have given the guy a refund and told you to keep the wheat berries free of charge for all of the hassle you went through. Plus give you a discount on your next order. If you are considerate to people that really helps to build a better business, the company wasn't nice or thoughtful to you at all.

They also used to have great customer service…my last two issues I was less than impressed with. I’m paying more to a local store now for what I used to order for azure. Azure was wrong in the way they responded to you as a customer and as a coordinator. You may have missed homeschooling your children that day but you taught them a valuable life lesson. ❤🙏

So sorry Azure didn’t stand behind you and support you. You are a customer also.
We have had people not show up at our drop. I sub for our coordinator and once a lady went to Hawaii and just forgot her order. I didn’t know this lady but she asked for us to deliver her stuff that needed to be refrigerated at her place of employment. It was a locked building. We left it at the door. Two days later she called and told us she no longer worked there and it was up to us to go get her stuff. I laughed so hard. It was summer it was hot she ordered milk and ice cream. Hawaii or remember your order. I don’t know.
I plan the week of the drop if I might be gone or plan to be gone I don’t order.
Azure sends out tons of emails and text messages and our coordinator does too, how people miss them is amazing. And if they are new ask questions.
Azure is a good company with their growth they probably have employees that don’t know the fine print. I can say the same about Amazon and every other online company.
Most all volunteer positions get or are getting overwhelmed don’t feel bad your health is always more important than a volunteer position.

I'm considering that the number of people not picking up their orders has skyrocketed and they have way too many items left on the trucks, everywhere, and the drivers don't want to deal with it. That means the driver takes on another job as well, selling all of those items before he finishes for the day. And all the paperwork mess. Just thinking about the situation. Interesting video. They say they still have the same family ownership, buy I'm beginning to wonder.❤😊

Why does there even need to be a drop coordinator? Why can't people be informed of the time BY THE COMPANY what time to be there, and either they show up or send someone else to pick it up, or the items stay on the truck and go to the next location(s). It sounds like Azure Standard just wants to unload everything on an UNPAID person to deal with all the headache while they go on their merry way. This is THEIR job, not yours. Then. when someone has failed to pick up several orders on time, they need to be removed from the customer list.

Woman or man, you’ve given a great example of respect for self (and others!) by standing for your values and the importance of time with your family. Things arent always perfect, or run smoothly. Yes, they got under your skin - but where is your mercy & grace? Gods mercy is new every morning for you. If you'd just given in and shown grace; not dig your heals in. It wouldnt have robbed you of the Lords peace. Jesus gave His son for ypu, as un deserving as we all are. Remember
    " Revenge is the Lords?"
We have no room to take offence at stubborn sinners. Cause no one was born a saint. Hand over the bag of wheat( bless your enemy) as, Jesus reminds us to? Swallow your pride, humble yourself. Jesus took the blows and mocking - for you.
You can do this Janice...I know you can. ❤💖💟

EXCUSE ME, but even Jesus was pushed to the point of saying “enough!” and he then overturned the money changers’ tables!! Having grace and mercy in a difficult situation by NO means being a door mat for ANYONE or paving the way for future abuse! Janice DID show grace by not losing her temper with the arrogant customer and irresponsible Azure Standard and dumping that bag of wheat into the parking where it should have been accepted back by the driver. She did NOT have to attempt to find a new drop coordinator. She could have said “I’m done, good with all of this.” She did NOT do that. THAT was showing mercy and that WAS being graceful. Nowhere in the Bible does it say we are to make ourselves a sacrificial punching bag for rude, arrogant, self-entitled and inconsiderate people thereby enabling their abuse and torment toward others, as well. There was NOTHING prideful OR vengeful about Janice’s actions whatsoever, in any shapely form or fashion. Refusing to be bullied and strong-armed is not an ungodly act. We are to treat our bodies and ourselves as a temple and that certainly does NOT mean letting bullies and bouncers run roughshod over us. The song goes “Onward a Christian SOLDIERS”, not pushovers or whimps. Janice absolutely did not deserve this unfair and needless diatribe. May I suggest that you humble yourself and offer a sincere apology to Janice for your harsh and hurtful words and say a prayer for forgiveness. In other words, practice what you preach.

@@debrasnipes7431a servant of the Lord must be willing to serve “the bully’s” because the Lord loves them and He died for the “bully” too. I understand this is a hard concept for our flesh…mine doesn’t like it either! 😔 But this is where it helps to pray for a servant’s heart. Only the Lord is good, we aren’t.❤

With your full and blessed life, your choice to volunteer was beyond generous. However, volunteerism should be limited, I believe. Being offended is also a choice we make as human beings. This was a series of rude encounters...we all see them in life. Let it go...drop it out of your mind. Azure company will continue. You will continue. The good people will understand. The rude people will continue. Just as certain people in our life will come and go, your Azure connection will change,,,for "everything there is a season"...I have had dearest of frienships that have ended abruptly after a year...I accept it because some parts of your life are supposed to happen that way. I also have friendships that have continued for 30 years, 40 years even 50 years. Feel good that the weight of that 50 lb bag is lifted from your life...God was telling you that your volunteering was ended
