I'm telling you, their songwriters know EXACTLY what they are doing. They're 100% aware that they have an elite vocal group on their hands and just have them go to town every time, especially Belle with all the ad libs during the last chorus. It's perfect synergy.
THIS. Everyone is focused on the group handling the concepts and choreo, but people really need to focus on the vocal aspect from behind the scenes.
They're giving the girls safer notes so they can get a little vocal rest, but they are synchronizing the members vocals to make a different sound from kpop its far closer to R&B but it works as pop music because of the girls vocal tones and combinations!
This company has really learned to brand these girls and showcase a full range of their talents each comeback.. and you can tell they're confident in the girl's skills! The ad libs, the risky line switches, the dual lines in the backup vocals. I have a feeling the Directors are having HELLUH fun recording with them. It's so detailed. 😂😂

as someone who’s been a fan of kpop since 2007 this is one of the first times in AWHILE ive felt like this matched the talent and feel of the groups and music that was coming out then
