In a straight line, it left the Corvette in '87 beside itself. These are dinosaurs and need care and love. Just like IROCs 5.7s. Not many left. And you are so right, the 3.8L longitudinal and the 3800 transverse engine, the most reliable GM engines they poured from molten metal.

They were stout my friend still has his 72 Formula Firebird with a 421 with trips on top and a Muncie transmission. We raced the Main drag years ago and a guy showed up in one and he almost won. It was so close a half dozen times that the Grand National bumper would be at the parking light on the front fenders of the big boy cars! Some were a pack of Cigarettes close. Have a great weekend.
What a beautiful car ! I don't have the words to describe it. It is the best car GM put out at a terrible time for the auto industry. Everything appears to be in or near showroom condition.
Yeah, that 85 mph speedo era is ridiculous. I think these are one of the meanest looking cars that GM ever put out. It's pretty easy to get power out of the 3.8 too. Thanks for taking a look!
I always liked what Hot Rod magazine said when they tested one " taking on the world with a six cylinder automatic " 😊
One of the most beautiful cars of the 80s ❤
I agree, it's one of my favorites. I still think the Trans Am's are better looking, but the GN might be a bit tougher looking.
I always loved these.
Glad you like it, thanks for taking a look!
The best V6 ever
They definitely are impressive and they have a ton of potential. Thanks for taking a look!

Ken Duttweiller did some amazing things with these engines. They have a ton of potential for certain. Thanks for checking it out Craig!

It really is in amazing condition and the paint is far better than average. Thanks for checking it out my friend!
Great example. I drove an "88 Olds 3.8 for 2 years without the turbo, and that car moved very well. The 85 m p h speedo is funny..

I might be just a little biased on this one 😂
Yeah, just maybe. Thanks for taking a look!
