Your channel is heaven. ❤
❤️❤️ to you and to women and moms supporting each other! 100% agree with you on skincare and formal wear and simple headphones. 100% disagree on workout pants and pens! 😂
Hahaha, I had no idea that the exercise pants and pen was going to be so controversial 😂 And yes ❤️❤️❤️ to all the mums and women out there supporting each other 😘😘
I have learnt over many years that simple living is the best way forward for me, less is more. i no longer buy things like shampoo/conditioners/toothpaste/deodourants etc in bulk those kind of items to say 50p, i am not a shop and once i get low i re buy, i was storing multiples for nearly a year, same with food and then it goes off, or worse how many preservatives are in those things to cover long shelf life very scary. , its ridiculous, and we kid ourselves its to save money but actually i was buying more and storing it away, i am not squirrel
thank you for your common sense approach and hope all goes well with your motherhood.
i read an article from cate flanders on storing things and how long a tube of toothpaste/shampoo all of the above lasts etc before needing to buy another that was a hugs game changer for me, and i think if you wait for something if it starts to bother your skin etc then you havnt bought 3 bottles to waste, and i also learnt it makes you more frugal. Gosh thats a lot to take in hope its all helpful. xxxx
Thanks for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and constructive comment! Great tips and advice xxx
Thanks for this Simantha. I think the kitchen is the hardest section of the home to de clutter. I do cook and I used to entertain so there are piles of dishes and platters and serving bowls that I can’t seem to part with at the moment. Any tips very welcome .
Ooh that gives me an idea for a video - my minimalist kitchen tour because we are pretty minimalist when it comes to that 😁 Tbh my biggest tip - and I’m not sure that would work for everyone - is to borrow extra plates and serving dishes when you have a party or an occasion as that’s what we do. My mum has lot of dishes and we just borrow her things 😁 My mum could definitely do with downsizing, she has at least three full dinner sets! X
There aren't too many things I only own one of that comes to mind. If I had to pick, though, I would say my car. I can only afford one lol.
I also use fingertips to apply face make up, much more hygienic. I’m down to 3 bags which is low for me 🤣 ...... Pens .... omg I couldn’t count how many 🤣
how can you have just one pair of trainers and wearing them all the time not destroying them? I have to buy 2 or 3 pairs every two years, they break down even though they are not the cheapest, nike, puma etc...
I have a pair of puma trainers and they've lasted a couple of years. I've got a wardrobe video on this channel and you can see they are pretty battered and bruised so I also need to replace them every few years.
you wear the same pair of exercise pants everyday of the week and only wash them on the weekends??!
Yep, that’s right - it doesn’t bother me. They don’t smell and my exercise is walking on the treadmill uphill for an hour. Don’t follow what I do if that doesn’t work for you 😂
@@simantha1686 i would never be able to do that i end up drenched after exercising
Yep, I totally get it - tbh, I don’t really work up too much of a sweat … I don’t know if it’s because I always feel the cold or what but it takes a lot for me to sweat through exercise! I once did an insanity workout and that did break me out into a sweat but tbh, that exercise programme is way too over the top for me!
Having one pen would be the hardest for me, but I have gone through and decluttered pens and try to keep only what fits in a pencil case. I'm sure if I had fewer, I would lose them less frequently. Would love to see a future video with tips on how you pack light for travel.
Ooh great idea for a video! I’ll film what I pack in my suitcase the next time I go away anywhere 😁 X
