A very ubiquitous symptom of NPD is their accusations are confessions. I've never seen Dave point a finger that doesn't rightfully direct several back at him.
36:38 I can even simplify this. If Sony wants to test a new feature for the PS5, are they gonna reach out to Nintendo Switch players to test it? When Capcom wants to test a SF6 patch, who are they more likely gonna reach out to for testing: a person who plays the game every day for hours, competes in the tournaments, plays every day...or someone who only plays the game once a week for, at MOST, 3 hours? He knows for a FACT, if he was offered early access to the SF6 update, he'd take it in a second. And he knows it.
Of course. It's all just one big cope and jealousy session about how and why he blames everyone but himself for the stupid shit he did that made sure he'd never get free shit again.
And it would be 100% useless to Capcom because Phil is both a shitty player and an incredibly bad person to comment on changes. Dude couldn't offer a worthy comment if his life depended on it.

It appears to me that DSP is strategically positioning himself to reap the benefits of the “I told you so” points. Furthermore, I am inclined to believe that he harbors a certain level of dissatisfaction towards the game, thereby instigating drama. This is particularly interesting considering the game in question is a free-to-play, 6v6 team-based shooter, which necessitates a group of friends for an optimal gaming experience. However, if DSP were to invest some time in research, he would discover that approximately two weeks ago, the developer NetEase made a public commitment to revise their terms. This decision was prompted by a backlash from content creators, including the popular streamer Brandon Larned. NetEase acknowledged that their terms were excessively restrictive, thus necessitating the revision. This is a prime example of the power that real content creators wield in the gaming industry today.

Btw, that coming from the guy who is constantly talking shit about other people taking "nuggets of truth".
Only reason companies don't want DSP has any sort of access because for 15 years he is still not a casual gamer, more like a mobile gambling addict that even STAKE don't bother coming to him seeing why sponsoring a pig that he is even lying to himself.
@@AtlustheBookkeeper that's right. It was the memeology video I saw. It's been on my mind ever since. 14:41 I'd like to take this time to remind everyone of my favorite Phil fact. Phil almost got to work with EA long ago. But Phil has to be Phil so he was unnecessarily rude and threw away a big paycheck.
Why does he think an entity seeking to maximize profit on a product they invested significant resources to create would care about some random creep’s faux integrity? They don’t want your honest opinion and have no obligation to help you market your content at their expense. His entitlement is off the charts. He has no right to participate in these promotional arrangements. He’s not even competent as a critic whether his opinion is net negative or positive. I don’t know why he can’t understand that all criticism ever in the history of mankind has contained every kind of bias and prejudice you can imagine. As a consumer you have to use your head. This is a component of freedom of choice. Caveat emptor - buyer beware. Bring out your shills, gather up your contrarians. It doesn’t matter. Any reasonably mature intelligent average person can separate the wheat from the chaff when it comes to opinions. How did he become so relentlessly stupid? Why on Earth would anyone want to give him early access knowing in advance they would gain absolutely nothing from it? It’s like he’s never heard of advertising or marketing. Honest experience does not sell and is not that valuable. Sitting in front of a camera telling people how honest you are is not convincing. Phil is so dense he doesn’t realize that there is nothing that makes him more trustworthy than anyone else. He’s such a stunted regard he thinks the value of celebrity endorsements is based on their authenticity. This standard of honesty was never a thing. When you criticize something you can show your work. You don’t start by asking for trust. Whether you are taken seriously or not has nothing to do with your personal integrity. He has no impact because his real thoughts and opinions aren’t in demand. His truthful feelings are completely worthless. If not for the free platform given to him by social media his feelings wouldn’t ever make it out of the snort fort. His reviews are garbage.
24:21 It’s like if you owned a sandwich shop, and a regular customer of yours, one who you know orders a specific soft drink with their sandwich, suddenly orders a new soft drink on your menu, one that doesn’t match the taste you’re familiar with them liking. Then they drink the soft drink and sings its praises to the point of ordering another one to go. Is your response to believe that they’re being paid by the soft drink company to like the new drink?
Man he's just so jealous that he isn't chosen for stuff and yet keeps saying he wont do what they do because that make him a sell out. He keeps chasing day one views for those big games hoping ppl will be dented enough to give him money because its easier for him too swindle ppl out of money than get paid too play a specific game by the devs
28:05; and there we have it - Phil loops back around to himself being the "special, hard-done-by messiah of gaming and the universe." He just can't help it, he _is_ the main character of his own little world. Phil's troubles all extend from this one point, this nexus of self congratulatory idiocy - he can't literally take one solitary moment to reflect. 42 fucking years of being so grossly up himself, Phil can't possibly be actually smart or socially, financially, professionally aware of anything. Phillip P. Burnell literally exists for no reason.
It's so annoying how Phil keeps using the term "making the bag." It's like grandpa learned a new phrase and has to say it as often as possible, so the kids know that he's hip. **insert Steve Buscemi meme**
Kinda interesting how you can tell when he is putting words in people's mouths when he reads something isn't it? "I'll read this word for word" vs "I'll summarize what they said" (IE like with criticism)
9:57 yes the really sad fact about it is that you are, and always will be, one of the most unprofessional unprepared content creators to ever embark upon any platform.
This may be a hot take and feel free to correct me but i don't find the contract THAT bad given its a closed Alpha where they still have lots of work to do on the game, it just prevents people with clout from ruining the game before it had a chance to be "finished". I would understand the outrage if it was a beta where only minor changes take place. I mean in a perfect world they wouldn't need that in an alpha contract either but given the state of social media and how fast some minor things can ruin a game i can somewhat understand it.
National Lampoon Christmas Vacation is a solid comedy. Don’t let the piggy deprive you of one of the four holiday movies worth watching during the Christmas season. (Die Hard is a Christmas movie, I don’t care what anyone says.)
DSP's final downfall and his departure from this minecraft world can't come quick enough. But hey im young enough to outlast him. I'll get to see how this story ends and that gives me hope.
Back when ad revenue was good he used to trash all streamers for even mentioning donations. Only when he's forced into the same boat as other people does he start defending the stance
I liked this rant of his because it all boils down to jealousy. When he was "the guy" who ran to the store and recorded his TV first before anyone else it was great. But now that he can't because companies think hes a toxic waste of time to give him review copies, now its bad. It's his narcissism flaring up big style.
29:23 dsp had the chance to get free advertising when a tv show came to him to use his SF arcade videos, but he didn’t want to give them free use indefinitely in fear of a dsp show without dsp.
People support people of value. A pro's feedback on sf6 will always be worth more than Mr. Phil "rollback net code bullshiet top-tier pattern playing scrubs" Burnell. His reviews are useless for he himself can't see the pros and cons of games due to his own inability to actually play. Everything is the game's fault; every game is dropping his inputs. What an absolute regard.
Hang on friends, it was either shortly before or after this rant where Phil was saying he didn't wanna get past "Level 1". He doesn't care about what bigger channels do because he's fine being a proud lover. But here he is seething at what every other creator does. Phil's stance goes back and forth like a ping pong ball.
He is so jealous of other creators, and he doesn’t even try and hide it. Always bringing up how much money others are making. Deals that others are getting. What a joke.
Didn't he get offended and defensive when someone in the suggestion box pointed out that he doesn't know how to switch the camera views after all these years? Lol and the fact that he looks into the camera and says people shouldn't like being advertised to while saying his ebegging is advertisement
LMAO! Does he not realize that he runs his “business” same way as the contract he criticized?! He demands payment for nothing, really. You can’t criticize or make fun of him, no negative subjective opinion is allowed. You can only say stuff in chat that is pre-approved and agreed by his Majesty the Pigler. You say anything that goes against his fur, your “early access” get permanently revoked. 😂😂😂😂 I mean, it)# the same as that video game contract, no?
I’d rather he show this contract than just say it to us. I’m extremely skeptical of this since it lines up with his agenda perfectly so he can do this seethe and cope segment also he needs to stop gatekeeping what a “real gamer” is because DSP is the prime example of all the negative connotations surrounding people who plays games. Hermits that are disgusting and brash and nobody wants around them.
Good God you can tell just by the way DSP is talking, that this is all jealousy that he’s trying to mask as some other BS. 😂 Cause he would say yes to any of these offers if they came his way.

His swaying is getting worse every day
I can't remember off the dome but Phil did once accept a sponsorship for some kinda mediocre looking indie game. I'll see if I can find it again
Elo Hell was the game
@@AtlustheBookkeeper that's right. It was the memeology video I saw. It's been on my mind ever since. He constantly bitches and moans about how early access compromises the reviewer's integrity (even though it's transparently about him losing day one views) and I'm constantly reminded that if he was granted the opportunity to take a game sponsorship he would probably take it again because he has no morals when he could be earning hogans
14:41 I'd like to take this time to remind everyone of my favorite Phil fact. Phil almost got to work with EA long ago. But Phil has to be Phil so he was unnecessarily rude and threw away a big paycheck.
Noodle arms on full display today
needs to retire that shirt ASAP....
38:30 I love that Phil indirectly insulted himself and didn't even realize it again Phil has no idea how air quotes work
Why does he think an entity seeking to maximize profit on a product they invested significant resources to create would care about some random creep’s faux integrity?
I wouldn’t let Phil ruin that movie for you. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is a legitimate Christmas classic.
Remember, Phil wears undershirts when he can't button the over shirt
Man he's just so jealous that he isn't chosen for stuff and yet keeps saying he wont do what they do because that make him a sell out. He keeps chasing day one views for those big games hoping ppl will be dented enough to give him money because its easier for him too swindle ppl out of money than get paid too play a specific game by the devs
28:05; and there we have it - Phil loops back around to himself being the "special, hard-done-by messiah of gaming and the universe."
He just can't help it, he _is_ the main character of his own little world.
If I were a game creator, I'd figure out any way possible to piss off Phil. Honestly couldn't think of a better way to get positive press!
If I ever make a game, the difficulty settings would be: Hard, Normal, Easy, and DSP Mode
@@Allyspill presume DSP mode would just be an autoscroll and auto-input mode
Even if I 100% agree with Phil on something, a 20min Phil rant makes me change my opinion
Edit: 13:26 stupid thongs
24:37 my favorite reaction
Sometimes it be like that
it grinds my gears when i hear phil complain about other youtubers doing paid ads but he'll probably do it in a heartbeat if it was wwe champions
It's so annoying how Phil keeps using the term "making the bag." It's like grandpa learned a new phrase and has to say it as often as possible, so the kids know that he's hip. **insert Steve Buscemi meme**
37:16 except you Phil you don't have a moral compass you have a moral roulette wheel
The thumbnails this past week have been straight 🔥 keep it up sandwich man
Thanks boss
This may be a hot take and feel free to correct me but i don't find the contract THAT bad given its a closed Alpha where they still have lots of work to do on the game, it just prevents people with clout from ruining the game before it had a chance to be "finished". I would understand the outrage if it was a beta where only minor changes take place.
I mean in a perfect world they wouldn't need that in an alpha contract either but given the state of social media and how fast some minor things can ruin a game i can somewhat understand it.
18:52 From what I have read Johnny Depp still uses Sauvage by Dior. see dsp wrong again
All DSP’s criticisms are just thinly veiled attempts to paint his failure as a virtue.
It's because he's an idiot and he's not smart enough to understand he's contradicting himself on a regular basis
He is so jealous of other creators, and he doesn’t even try and hide it. Always bringing up how much money others are making. Deals that others are getting. What a joke.
This channel is comfort food to me. Not sure what that says about whom 😂.
21:20. Christmass Vacation. Is actually a GREAT movie. It's funny as hell. Definitely a must watch,Atlus 🙂👍
Nah idc if daves recommending it the the national lampoons vacation serious is hilarious
that shirt is too small for him, i wish dsp would be jealous of people that have shirts that fit then other content creators.
He is going ham about a contract for an alpha build he's seriously dented.
You need to watch National Lampoon's movies.
Don't let DSP keep you from watching a genuinely funny and legitimately good comedy that is worth checking out.
New drinking game. Everytime DSP says “literally” take a shot
Thats a quick death in minecraft
@@AtlustheBookkeeper too right amigo, too right
Good God you can tell just by the way DSP is talking, that this is all jealousy that he’s trying to mask as some other BS. 😂 Cause he would say yes to any of these offers if they came his way.
Super honest about BG3...until the money stopped.
One read said contract. 2 why would you review an Alpha version.
1:39 Thank you, Atlus someone else finally says it
Good googly goo, how many times is he going to paint himself as the paragon of veracity that is the only one you can believe to be honest??? I swear this dude is going to go through Groundhog Day until the sun explodes.
