    I'm Panigalev2.
    It's a genuine wheel and has been replaced from 180-60-17 tires to 200-60-17. I think it's slowing down and slowing down. I think it will be safer in Corring, but is there any problem with installing 200.60.17 on the v2? There's no interference or anything.

    Thanks a lot for this! Looks like I'll be sticking to the stock 200/60 rear.

    Hi mate, could you recommend me which tire will be better for agressive road On SF V4S 2021 - Diablo Rosso IV or Diablo Rosso IV Corsa? Also I am considering mileage, I don't want tire worn out on 1k ml.
    Thanks,

    I don’t own the V4 but have an 899, my stock rear tyre is 180/60 but strongly considering a 180/55 due to the fact I can have different options of tyre choices.
    I used to do lots of track riding but never do anymore, just a good road pace. So slower steering shouldn’t be an issue. Lincolnshire, England here 👍🏻
    Come across your video looking for info on my bike. Thought it be rude not to leave a comment.

      An astute mechanic might be able to compensate somewhat with ride height adjustment but it's that distance between the ground and the rear axle that is hard to replicate otherwise. Pirelli also has the new Rosso 4 along with the Rosso Corsa II now in 180/60. I have the Rosso 4 on the V4 but haven't ridden it yet. I might do another video after I have tried them.

    How are you doing my name is Hollywood I am interested in getting a 2021 Hayabusa I believe the rear size tire is a 190/55R 17 am I able to put a 200/55/17 and not lose the handling?

    Great rare vid so thank you. Makes me want to try the Rosso II. Any experience with the new Rosso III? Also, nit what your vid is about but do you know anything about running a 190 on the 1st gen 1199s? An “expert” friend tells me that the stock 200/55 makes it less nimble and i should drop to the “normal” 190 like everything else has. It’s my first sport bike but I’ve been riding aggressively for decades. FWIW I am approaching expert level on the road, logging 4000mi so far and have a barely perceptible chicken strip on the 200. I presume i’m the one you meant is “going too fast” off the track, but I do not like our track, for many reasons. Thanks for any thoughts you might share.

      I never tried a 190 on my 1199. Probably it's not a problem to try it but it will be shorter than the 200 so it will steer slower. Riding on the street is not a good measure of skill unfortunately. Unless that skill is dodging the many hazards that don't exist at the track.

      @@andyruhl7739Thanks sir. I recently had to mount a 180 Q3+ because i was in the middle of nowhere and saw metal belts! So i put a matching Q3+ up front too.
      Regarding your views of street riding, the thing is we have an amazing 14-mile mountain stretch of 20mph corners where no camping is allowed and theres never any trucks and early mornings there's almost no traffic. 1 easy run up and back to make sure nothing happened to the tar and its ballz out from there. People definitely treat it like a race track and its 10x as fun as our little track, especially for liter bikes. I have found the limit of both Dunlops on that road and there's barely a difference from that 200, at least the way i ride. If i were a track guy like you i would definately shun what we do on that mountain, but i wasted hundreds going to our silly little track and it wasnt even that much fun. 7 right turns and 1 left...barely into 3rd gear on the straight..... 4 heats and the tire is gone. No thanks.

    What do you think if I put my ducati panigale 1299 , 200/60, it comes from the factory with 200/55 but I think it will have better performance with 200/60, what do you think?

    • @andyruhl7739
      @andyruhl7739  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Only if you have some specific reason to raise the rear of the bike. It will raise it quite a bit. I don't know if this will affect the handling poorly.

      @@andyruhl7739 Thank you very much for your answer, I want it to ride on the track and the street and sometimes track day. the specifications of the ducati panigale 1299 are very similar to the ducati panigale v4 and if the panigale v4 comes OEM with 200/60 for that reason I think it will be for the better the handling of the motorcycle maybe more stable? What do you think?, I thank you very much for your attention and your answers

      @@ericmoisesgalvezsanchez680 You're talking yourself into it on your own, you don't seem to need my advice. The 200/60 is much taller. Maybe it will work. If the bike works fine with the 200/55 you should stay with it.

    Im a road rider only and have a Pani V4. I just dont get on with Pirelli tyres, they just feel like they're very twitchy and always about to let go to me (probably just me lol) so i was going to give 200 55 Bridgestone S22's a go, but after watching this, I'm now not sure thats a good idea 🤯

    • @andyruhl7739
      @andyruhl7739  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I wouldn't. I thought Dunlop makes a 200/60 now. I can't imagine a Pirelli feeling twitchy though, that must be something else. They are the opposite of twitchy to me.

    If you have a 200 /60 what size should you put on the front to be safe, 120/70?

    • @andyruhl7739
      @andyruhl7739  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      200/60 is the stock tire size for the Panigale V4, and the stock front size is 120/70. Your avatar picture appears to be something other than a Panigale V4. You should not use a 200/60 unless it's the OEM tire size. Use whatever your OEM tire size is.

      @@andyruhl7739 that is a google image, i do own a suzuki gsxr 1000 and seen YT videos of guys putting on 200/55. Mine fits up to 190/55 nicely and says 190/50 on manual

      @@seanviper99 You're making a huge change to the geometry of your bike by making that big of a change to the rear tire. Not recommended unless you really know what you're doing. The only reason I touched on this subject is because there was only 1 tire available for the Panigale V4 and it sucked. So I went to the shorter 200/55 and it's not ideal. Just put the correct tire on your bike so it handles correctly.

    I run the 60 on the track and 55 on street just to save money. Calibration never worked on mine but I never noticed any problems with the bike on the 55. Of course im probably not running near as hard as you. I will try the rossa corsa 2. Been using the power rs, not getting the road wear that I want. Really liked your video, thanks for sharing.

      I was forced to mount up a 180 on my 1199 after riding and hour on steel belts. It still handles great but the speedo is way off. Like +10 at 120
