Epic Kayak Fishing: Giant Bluefish Adventure

‪@alamanamoose‬ and I took another trip over to Hunters Creek inside of Ponce Inlet. The big Bluefish are still up in the creek and they are most aggressive when there is good water flow between high and low tides.

Awesome day of fishing. I hope to see some of that action when I get down to our home in Bonita Springs on Wednesday. I’ve never caught Bluefish like that in our creeks or backwater, but sometimes out on the barrier island flats. Hitting the road tomorrow morning from Toronto Canada. Can’t wait to get out on the yak to see what’s around. Definitely going to try some of those $3 Bommers. Yellow looks like it’s been a good colour for you. We tend to fish soft plastics. Keep the awesome videos coming. It’s great to see what’s happening on the opposite coast.

Walmart keeps the Bombers on the bottom shelf. We usually have 1 maybe 2 pound Bluefish in the winters. These 15 pounders are very rare. I've never seen them this big myself.

Holy chit you both had lots of action. Those bluefish are huge. I need to plan a trip there soon.

It is fun catching those big blues but they really wear you out after a few.

Where do you launch from when you fish hunters creek?

@@StudencFishing We launch from the Swoop boat ramp and stay along the West side of the channel and head South to the creek.

Those are definitely the biggest fish I've caught from a kayak.
