You zero gap it with the 2 screws that hold the plastic piece on the cutting blade. Loosen and adjust where that plastic piece sits while on the other blade then tighten.
Thank you so much! My husband owns one and he's never cleaned it xD he was contemplating on buying a new one. This was super easy to clean and replace the blades

it was that plastic bit what i was having problems with, i couldn't get the blades to match up, mine's a smaller one than yours, a slim silver one but it has those two wire prong things like yours, i got it right after watching what you did, and i tested it on my neck hair, and it cut nice and smooth..thanks.....
@@walden9612 I had the blades for 4 years and every 3 months I pulled them apart for a deep clean you 100% don’t have to do that I just like to have clean tools

@@blackflagbarbering4753 If you're trying to zero gap, you have to loosen the gold screws on the bottom blade and you can slide it up and down to zero gap.

@@blackflagbarbering4753 thanks for the response. so the blades didn't get dull in 4 years?
@ mine didn’t but specially used them just to line up, I used a debulking clipper to shave everything to 0. But just replace them when dull
The white plastic piece that fall off called the cam follower ( T wide blade cam follower )

I ordered the exact same replacement blade and it looks totally different. Didnt fit my detailer. I think I got screwed
It’s so damn hard to unscrew the blade to adjust. It’s like screwed on tight. I’ve been trying as hard as I can. It’s not moving. Damn man.
show how to line up the two blades

This guy don't know wtf he's doing
If you watch the video I say it’s the first time I’ve taken it apart.
