Yo I AM A HYENA ... and I said that in the past month or so in a number of my rhymes . .... proud to be a HYENA ... the most BADASS animal of the TIMES

Eric andre threw a chair at my friends middle school teacher during a live show. you had to sign waiver like contracts to go to the show. It was hillarious
i'm kinda confused about this cause I swear I heard some years ago that there WAS already a Madlib Blackstar album but it just hasn't been released. Or maybe that was a Talib solo album with Madlib producing.. something like that. (now that I think about it though didn't Talib have an LP or EP produced by madlib in 2010 or so?)
This show is so great we don’t really need time stamps because there’s no need to skip. But I understand not everyone has time to watch the whole show.
That was amazing, so entertaining. I especially enjoyed the way Eric would ask questions of his own as if he was the one doing the interview. Great podcast as usual!
I lived in Aventura for 7 years... Nicest place i ever lived...next to sunnyisles beach.... ALL Jewish,Russian,Israeli,Brazilian,Argentinean and Haitian.... Badass mall too... Wow this was fantastic! It's the best Eric Andre interview I've seen. Honestly at first I couldn't focus on what they were talking 'cause I was seriously shocked at how incredibly beautiful Jasmin is. Once they started talking some quality politics I knew I was gonna watch more of this show. And I'm definitely checking out Jasmins' stand up! Great job guys!
Rawkus Records still is staple to me. I found so many artists through their records and the SoundBombings and LL's are still amazing albums. From High & Mighty, Rugged man, Big L, Monch, Mad Skillz and all the artists i heard on the mixtapes. Still listen to this day
Respiration is one of my favorite songs and I’ve loved how Talib raps and have been a fan for a few years and I’m so fucking happy he’s a cool ass dude
Hearing Eric Andre tell the story of Talib smoking on stage 20 years ago made me think of my experience more recently. Talib performed at a local beer festival in Wilmington, DE like 4 years ago, which was literally the ONLY reason I paid for a ticket, considering I had recently stopped drinking alcohol. It was a very tame event and there were a lot of families with children etc. But seein Talib Kweli live...I had to bring some of that real sticky icky icky. Even though I immersed myself in the older crowd by the stage who knew his music, I'm fairly confident I was the ONLY person getting stoned. And it was really good stuff. Had multiple bewildered white folks turning around wondering where that sweet smell was coming from, as I was being discreet. And then Talib comes closer to my side of the stage and made a joke about seeing all the kids and smelling the ganja. Something like "I smell ya'll at this family event Wilmington. (Imitating a child's voice) Mommy, why does it smell like pine trees??" Yup, I was the pine forest that day lol. Great episode! I love both of these guys.
Soundbombing 2 is THE BEST mixtape ever made, specifically made by the greatest DJs on earth. The Beatjunkies, J-Rocc and Babu are the dopest Djs to ever make such a classic mixtape. I think everything is setup perfectly on this show. Two people at the table, with Jasmines pretty self in the directors chair. It’s different, fresh, and everything flows great 👍.
This is a standard talk show setup. The host has their sidekick chime in to keep things going but isn't a main part of the interview. Pretty much every talk show does this
Bad Trip is wild, I am also curious about the reactions...from the bloopers in the credits, it seems like the scenes were framed as something else, then Eric does his thang to get the real reaction
