Nice shop, compares to the one I work for. Local 206 San Diego,CA.
Local 16! Eugene Oregon.
We this spiral and elbow duct machine but we had alot of trouble since the one who teach us, was a Chinese, and he dont know how to speak in english, so he only teach us by sign, and its hard to do since this is our first time to see or operate this kind of machine
Which machine are you talking about? Our machines are decoilers, straighteners, feeders, presses. If you need my help, I'm happy to do so. Haha, I bet I speak much much better than just signs, lol.
By the way, you didn't request them to offer some translator?
Cleats is a small shop do one on hill mechanical in Chicago! Baby shop here

Butters Fetting ,Wisconsin, local 18. The most advanced thing in our shop is the burn table lol😅

WE start creating a catalog with specialists from different areas:
I have been doning duct work for about a month. I do everything buy hand with no air hammer and no gloves (so a lot of cuts) so my left hand is getting jacked for no reson.
I work at a sheet metal factory. Cut my thumb off with painted 30gage sheet metal lol got it put back on been almost 2 months since that happened.. a lot of physical therapy and bullshit
30 guage? Sumbitch thats thin as hell!
@@kronos963 that thin shit will fuck you up too
Get into sheet metal guys! I've been working for only 2 months now. But I've learned so much. Working in 2 shops now one unpaid but he is pushing me to design somthing to produce and make money off of. I am learning how to use solid works and how to program the laser cuter. Way better career than my last line of work (hotel and casino work.) If anyone is debating on getting into this line of work I would highly recommend it if you can handle hard work.
Got the job just before lock down. But still can't start because not all companies have opened again fully. Never done anything like this before. I've been caring for 3 years. Time to get out and try something new. Especially how we were treated through this lock down. Hopefully I will enjoy it even without any experience.
Update?
