    Sooooo I’ve watched your videos up until my test date which was 5.9.23 and I passed!!! Out of 60 questions I missed 4 and the skills were a breeze as well. I was the only one clicking away and the first one finished on the written test, Thank you for your amazing cna prep videos, I’ve added a certification to my resume that will be beneficial until I finish the Diagnostic Imaging Program ❤

    Plus I would like to know the first aid for, Hypertension, hypotension, hyperthermia, hypothermia, tachypnea,bradypnea, tachycardia, bradycardia..... before reporting to the nurse what should I do as a CNA❤

    • @FloridaTraining
      @FloridaTraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      The best thing to do for those who are hemodynamically unstable is to 1) get the patient to bed if you can do so safely, 2) call for the nurse/hit the emergency button, 3) begin taking the vital signs so that the nurse will have them when she/he enters the room, 4) assist the nurse by repositioning the patient (ex: Trendelenburg for hypotension) and/or getting supplies (ex: crash cart), 5) be prepared to perform CPR if the person goes into cardiac arrest, and 6) document.
      If you have asked for a nurse and he/she hasn't come, keep reassessing your patient (and documenting). If it's safe to do so, leave the patient and notify the charge nurse.
      I know that some of the nurses are new and/or don't know how to respond during an emergency. So thank you for wanting to do more to help care for your patients.

    Is the CNA state exam the same in every state?

    • @FloridaTraining
      @FloridaTraining  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The questions are based on basic caregiver/CNA training. However, each state has different rules regarding what a CNA duties are. Therefore, the skills may not be the same for each state.
