After i started watching HJ, (initially group performances where other than group formations/synchronisations i noticed nothing else ) this varnam is one of the first recitals when it started to hit me that Harinie is not one of those usual bharatanatyam dancers you find around. She is something beyond. The fluidity in dance which is rare to find among bharatanatyam dancers, Control over laya, and ability to emote and do Justice to bhava of the composition/lyrics is something which was really noteworthy. Hope oneday we will get to see a full version!
