@@skorpikion The point of the game is to have fun, and some people find it fun to reload encounters to see different outcomes in games like BG3 where there are vastly different possibilities.
@@skorpikion Imagine you want to see how one option will turn out to be, even if your character would have never chosen it. Replaying the entire game? Nah, ain't nobody got time for that.
As a first time player in this game genre, it really is alot to take in. Its like uncovering the secrets to fully utilise microsoft excel 😂 thanks for this video!

Don’t forget to send those locked chests to your sidelined rogue/thief back at camp!
You can also pickpocket withers and get all your money back with zero penalty for failure.
Also you can barricade enemies out of building by stacking chairs and other objects. Made Gortash fight so easy even with steel watchers.
This game have a perfect portion of complexity
You can reposition and cast spells during conversation with teammates not in dialogue,
Om xbox, hold down "A" to make a circle expand from your character that will highlight all the interactions around you. When you release it you will have a handy list that you can scroll down and select things at your leisure.
You don't need to manually save, you can Quicksave with F5.

Why go into the map for the camping options when there is a camping button on the hot bar?
And why manually save rather than quicksaving with F5?
This is also releasing on PS5, they're probably trying to keep info relevant for that as well.

@@JeannieLove true, but it’s still in your radial hot bar on controller when you press the right trigger/r2 which is easier than going thru the menu
@@nikhilgopichand3350 In case you want a permanent save you can keep for whatever reason. Quicksaves are limited to a certain number and then start to get overwritten once you reach that limit.
Beating Zailk is easy, give Shadowheart the command spell, use it to make him drop the sword then have Laezel grab it and attack him with it 👍

Can you memorise more than 1 of the same spell? Eg. 2 Command spells?
You don''t need to. You can cast the 1 as many times as you have spell slots.
If you have an item that contains a number of charges for a spell (like misty step) you can have it on two hotbar parts, one will only use the item charges the other uses spell slots

On the bottom left side of the screen where you can see your dice (before you press to roll) there's a button where you can change colors and whatnot
you can get a mod on nexus that has every color die available if that's what u want as well

As nice as it is to be able to save just before a dice roll, it totally destroys the point of having dice rolls.

It takes many many MANY hours to get through. I'd rather they actually review a fully realized experience than review the game with only 30% of the game completed

You can also just 'command' him to drop his sword if you want the sword and don't want to put the work into killing him.
Some people were able to do it by exploiting some game mechanics, like casting a dozen mage hands by using the healing pod on the ship. But it cannot be considered a 'reasonable' condition, it is indeed only by heavy exploits. In the end, it is not worth it.
If you want to get the sword, can start with easy or balanced mode first then can change to tactician afterwards.

That first guy kept killing the mind flayer then my team, not sure how to beat him, tried it a few times before giving up and just bypassing the fight. At turn 9 it sends in two more soldiers.
You aren't supposed to beat the devils, at level one, in Avernus. There are millions of devils there. The mind flayer tells you exactly what to do.
You have to either buff/heal the mindflayer or you can command the demon to drop the sword and steal it
@@ioasisyumich I’m referring to killing him to get the sword. So many videos show this but he is so hard to beat, I’m on normal mode and tried a couple different tactics, must be missing something.

Make a Sorc, use magic missile. Fight done.

rolling before dice rolls kinda defeats the purpose of the game tbh. if you are just forcing the game to your way instead of letting dice rolls determine certain outcomes kinda makes your story uber liner. isnt the FUN of DND being the unpredictable aspect?

Couple of these are pointless. No need to use the map to go in or out of the camp, there is a button right on your screen to do it. Also, no need to cast guidance before a check, you get the option to do it when the check pops up.
Turn off karmic dice.
Almost all of these are things the game EXPLICITLY tells you.
