I remember hearing of this back around 1997. My son Blake was born that year and I wondered what kind of world we were living in. On February 28, 1997, the streets of Los Angeles turned into a war zone as two heavily armed and armored bank robbers engaged in a brutal standoff with police officers. This is a reflection of a darker reality that is coming. Myself, I do not wield guns. I do not want guns. I go to Church and try to help people. But when you watch the anger that is being expressed in the world, we are seeing more craziness like this. Here in Nova Scotia. On April 18 and 19, 2020, 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman committed multiple shootings and set fires at sixteen locations in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, killing twenty-two people and injuring three others before he was shot and killed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in the community of Enfield. We really need to start praying and helping each other. I suspect soon we are going to see armed people going into Police Stations, like the Terminator from that movie in 1984. The police officers are already having a hard perception on our police. The videotaped assault on Rodney King in 1992 and recent killings by police of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and many others-and subsequent protests-have focused intense national and international attention on police violence in the United States. I prefer to see the world through the Sacred Lens of the Virgin Mary. Mary, Mother of God, protect us with your blue mantle in Christ.❤

TThis is a really well made documentary for "B" quality production standards. I don't care for the majority of amataurish documentaries that flood the likes of TH-cam these days, but this one is really good. Kudos to Life of A Gangster for making this. The North Hollywood Shootout is the scariest bank heist shootout ever. It's a reminder of just how violent the United States is when it comes to the easy availability of potent firearms and weapons of mass destruction. It's also a reminder that too many politicians continue to this day collect blood money from special interest groups and lobbies who seek to make sure that the industry status quo in America never dies except for human beings.
The biggest question is why he didn't get in the car when he clearly could have and his partner was trying to get him to. I don't think this robbery was about money at all though, I think it was just a bloodthirsty rampage.
Because he was the only one to actually assess the situation correctly and knew they weren’t getting away. For that robbery to have been successful, just like his other ones, they would have had to leave the scene without the police being there. No chance they were getting away. Guy in the car hadn’t accepted that yet.

TThis is a really well made documentary for "B" quality production standards. I don't care for the majority of amataurish documentaries that flood the likes of TH-cam these days, but this one is really good. Kudos to Life of A Gangster for making this.

The level of amphetamines and steroids in both corpses was phenomenally high.
Because he was the only one to actually assess the situation correctly and knew they weren’t getting away. For that robbery to have been successful, just like his other ones, they would have had to leave the scene without the police being there. No chance they were getting away.
