I love the tip about adding a little non transparent paint to a ready to pour paint of the same color. Genius! 😆 I'm sure I didn't think of it because I'm extremely new, but I HAVE noticed how transparent my arteza ready to pour paints are. Thanks!
Yes you can do it with those too. Im not sure why these ready pour brands are so transparent. They must not use enough pigment when making them but it can really run a painting because you see all the colors through eachother so this is an easy way to fix that 😘
FANTASTIC!!! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 😍!!! There is so much depth and interesting designs I don't know what to look at first. I love it!! I haven't poured in 2 weeks but I am diffinetly going to try this. I have ready to pour paints but they are Decoart. Hope they work this well. 😃

This past weekend was the first time my vaccinated best friend and my vaccinated self have seen each other's faces in over a year (albeit still socially distanced)! when I went over to look at her latest paintings. She's been a seasoned fluid painter for some time. She got me into pour painting when I became (and I remain) furious with an unscrupulous contractor and I find it as soothing as she does. Mixing paints is my happy place. You're one of the artists who makes us happy. We talked about the positive attitudes of artists like you. Funny, but the discussion began with negative attitudes directed toward other painters and we looked at each other and both said, "Tammy Anderson" with shared horror because of rudeness you endured. We easily segued into artists like you and how it translates to the old corporate environment we shared around the middle of our friendship. My mom had, when I first learned how to use a computer, articulated it better than anyone in my professional career: It's people who know what they're doing who are quick to share what they know and/or direct you to someone with a better or a different style. Switcheroos are the perfect example of artists sharing with one another. We love how you collectively speak so fondly of other artists' styles - and maybe this wasn't the most relevant tutorial in which I might have shared this sentiment with you, but it's the first of your videos I've seen since I left her house. We met in the late 1980s over a shared love of music. Her skills are in the fine arts whereas mine lie in desktop publishing, so we've assisted each other in the decades we've been friends. She's taught me so much over the years and I'm thrilled that I could help her with something I picked up from yet another artist from whom I've learned, in yet another channel. Our pour widowers know that we're going to watch several videos a day; we've both always been sponges for learning! We also went over some of the techniques I've learned from you over the past months. Please keep sharing your existing skill, the knowledge you continue to pick up, and especially your beautiful creations. Now, I've had the fortunate, happy accident of the occasional good painting! and you give newbies like me hope that I'll make some consistently good art someday.
