    You are an excellent M.D. . I know I have been an R.N. on a dedicated stroke unit. Medicine in the USA is broken beyond logical . Real strokes are HELL on Earth. I have taken care of some of the worst strokes the general public has never seen.

    Most recent AHA/ASA guidelines do NOT recommend routine MRI and transthoracic echocardiogram for stroke patients. EKG and telemetry are enough for afib...

    Hi...my father had TIA lasting for 5 to 10 minutes and till his death he remained symptom free...and MRI had parietotemporooccipital infarct of left side of brain..m doctor my self and if was too hard for me to discuss with his neurologist compelling him initially that my dad had TIA
