Thank-you to all our fans for being so accepting and supportive of my change. It has been a crazy year transitioning Rabbit, but I'm grateful for the kindness everyone has shown me. 7 years ago I would have thought it was crazy if someone said I could be the woman I want to be, especially on stage...but ultimately someone did tell me, it just took until a little over a year ago when Sam pointed out "why not?" That little bug turned into a big decision for both my character and the band...and presenting on stage helped fuel my own personal transition six months ago. The journey isn't over yet, but I am very excited to have Rabbit's first album coming up where she's transitioned. This next year is quite eventful for Steam Powered Giraffe with Vice Quadrant and Steam World Heist, and I hope you enjoy all of the new work to come. Thank you once again! :) ~Isabella
I think fans tend to forget that Rabbit is a character. Now, as much as a character, especially an original character is in essence, the person playing it- Bunny is not a robot. In a way, her transition might be easier if she was... Screw on some boobs, put in a different voice modulator, good to go. For a human being, the process is a lot more complicated... But in spite of it all, you can really tell that Bunny LOVES her fans and her character and is a born performer who puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Lets stop giving her such a hard time and remember- She is still the Rabbit that we all know and love. That feisty, fun, wonderful spirit hasn't changed just because her voice and her body have! I for one, am still awed by her amazing voice. It's a true sign that she is an incredibly talented young woman- To change your range and still keep your agility and oomph? That takes skill. I LOVED her Walter Robotics ad... I've even re-used her pondering the meaning of life bit as a quote- Mt. Dew really is heaven, I swear it is. You go girl! I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!
This song strikes such a strong chord with me even though I'm nonbinary and Rabbit is a woman. It seems like cis people really struggle to understand that we already are who we are. Changing our appearance is just a matter of becoming ourselves. To try to be the same as our assigned gender would be the real 'transformation', the real deception. Thank you for making beautiful music as always, Isabella.
i'm a transwoman as well, but i haven't even started yet. at first i was thinking "who is she and why does she sound so familiar?" and then i saw your face and then "yeah, i definitely know of her!" took me a few more minutes to realise the meaning of the song. if i could draw, i'd draw Bunny and Rabbit as twins hanging out at an oil fountain
@@unknownboi2848 england has thing very backwards. teenagers and pre-teens get HRT pushed on them, but i, a stable and mentally-sound 26 year old transwoman get rejected because i hadn't convinced a transgender gender therapist. such bias is infuriating.
@@anniebot_45-73 Ah hell, I see... I hope you're able to get the HRT, god that is infuriating and dumb, if it's good for youth why not adults? I see no reasoning to do that.
@@anniebot_45-73 I'm on the same bloody island as you (but as a transmasc person) and I hope you are well and getting/close to getting the hormones you need. I have so little faith in the healthcare system these days...
Gender Identity Disorder, or GID, is a formal diagnostic that physicians and psychologists use for gender identity. It's an extreme discontentment with your birth sex's genitals. Basically, you look at yourself in a mirror, and you're disgusted with your sex's characteristics. If you're a trans man, you'd be disgusted with your breasts and soft features. If you're a trans woman, you're disgusted with your shoulders and lack of curves and such. Or so I presume. I'm a trans boy. It differs from person to person, and some trans people don't even experience dysphoria. Most do, however. It's an experience no one wants to live with. It's always there, a lurking thought in the back of your mind because you can only be tweaked, but not fixed permanently. Besides, you'll never be a complete :insert preferred gender here:. At least that's how it feels to me.
SteampunkMaster so basically I've seen you a lot in the SPG comment sections, so hahaha I was just wondering if its not too personal if you're a trans man or trans woman?
I commented on this video 3 years ago. It's now spring of 2019 and I can gladly say that I am now out and proud to my family and friends that J am a transgender man. Thank you for being such an inspirational person, Bunny. I love you. You're such a role model. Thank you for being you.
Vincent Wuttke I am starting on my journey. I have not came out yet, I have been to a few therapy seasons and I am starting to feel I am getting a bit more freedom. This song brings me joy, so does your comment here. I am currently a physical man, mentally a bit female.
I'm not trans, but I am an ally, and it warms my heart to see how Bunny has inspired so many in the trans community and elsewhere. I know the world has centuries to go with treating you all properly, but these are the starts. Bless up, much love.
@@Kara_Kay_Eschel Hey I see your comment is from a year ago and I hope you are well and safe and maybe closer to yourself now (mentally and physically). - Friendly neighbourhood nonbinary person
Wow I'm reading this (and finding this song) on a day I'm having horrible dysphoria and shame. I'm also a trans guy and it made me cry on the train to hear your story while listening to this song💖 big love 💗
This brought me to tears... I've only just recently rediscovered Steam Powered Giraffe; a friend of mine had showed me Honey Bee years ago, and learning that Isabella is trans and killing it on stage is just.. so huge for me. Isabella, you give me the courage to be who I am, you give me the strength to fight through the hard times in my transition. Thank you so much.
not gonna lie, played this song after my school bullied me about my sexuality and it literal stopped me from killing myself, giving you my love bunny!!! Thank you ~Carlile
I was bullied too as a kid and one thing I can tell you now as a MUCH happier adult with friends who love and support me as a Lesbian TransWoman is this: As long as you are alive, your life can almost certainly get better. So keep fighting for that better future! Plus it's easier than ever to find supportive people, even if they're online and ever so far away ^^
Dear Miss Bennett, I just wanted to say thank you. When I was first introduced to you and the rest of SPG I was going through PTSD. I had been feeling a little less human as my days crawled on until that point. See you and seeing how you transformed into who you are through the years helped me cope with my changes and helped be accept who I am. And that feeling of not being human has since been long buried. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. And thanks to SPG as a whole. Never stop being who you are. Your fan, Yuki
She is sooooo pretty!!! Even when her rabbit makeup was male, and when it was in the very beginning of becoming the male rabbit, she was still so pretty! She just grows more and more beautiful throughout these photos and her expression at the end of the song is just aaaa
Im a bisexual male, no intent on changing gender, seen people of all ages die on calls so when i say i cried...you better believe i filled a darn swimming pool. SO many people go through life denying their inner self. It's good this was done with no studio editing or anything, it makes it feel more raw and meaningful honestly. Just one's raw self laid bare on the stage. Wonderful and mesmerising. My wife even cried. So did my husband.
I was skeptical of the change at first, but because of the rabbit ears, which were God awful. Now that those rabbit ears are gone, she does look really beautiful.
Aaron Andermadas The ears weren't bad They were just very disproportionate and gangly A more ornate design would be lovely Something small but still prominent Maybe instead of sheet metal have it be two wired loops built into the hat
true story: the first two songs I listened to by spg where honeybee and I'll rust with you. I seriously thought they just had a bunch of people as singers and uses whoever was needed
I watched Brass Goggles, Captain Albert Alexander, Automatonic Electronic Harmonics, Honeybee, and then I Don't Have A Name For It. I thought they both switched Rabbit and The Jon, but I kept seeing Rabbit still being mentioned in comments

Thank you so much Bunny. You have no idea how much you've changed my life for the better just by living. I came out almost the same time you released this song and you and the song have helped me through such difficult times. So for that I can say thank you. Love you you Isabella Bunny Bennett. ~Cheyenne.
I want to thank you for helping me to explain transgendered people to my daughters. They and I love SPG and one day we were watching a video (I forget which one) and my eldest asked why rabbit was now a girl. I told her rabbit was born a boy but in her heart and mind shes a girl and she now accepts it. Her whole response was literally " I like her, Why did she not be her ?" That I do not thank you for, took a while to explain why the world is what it is. But she did say she would help change it, I feel over all it was a parenting win
What a beautiful thing to teach your children! I love seeing people accept others for who they truly are! It gives me hope for the youtube comments section. 😂
Wow, thank you so much for sharing that with us Miss Isabella. You and David both never fail to amaze at how you can create these wonderful songs on such short notice. Looking forward to hearing the polished album version.
Watching this again today, I've been following for over 10 years, followed your videos about your transition, and I just wanted to say it's been wonderful seeing you living life as who you've been inside all along❤ absolutely beautiful person inside and out!! Thank you for sharing your life, your story and your talent with us! Still absolutely love the band and you!! ❤ multiple SPG songs played at my wedding 🥰 This video really is beautiful, I'm so happy you're living your life as your true, authentic self ❤
+Steam Powered Giraffe I absolutely love this song because I am trans and for the longest time I tried to please everyone else and society and I am so sick of it I am so sick of people treating the things they fear with hate and anger it honestly makes me a bit sick to think about it. I know there are a lot of accepting people but I have had a lot of people stare at me when I wear makeup and stuff like that but it's alright I don't mind because they just don't understand me and that's alright I don't mind at all
Thank you for your bravery, and for becoming who you love and want to be! I am so sorry some people in this world strive to rob you of your happiness. Stay strong!
Macie Ratliff you have something their jealous of, babe. That's a will to be yourself. You're a sexy bitch and don't let anyone tell you any different no matter what or I'll personally fuck them up. I'm a straight white man, and I am not the devil they'd like you to believe me to be. I promise there's so much more for you in the world than what other people think. You're you. Be strong, be proud, and most importantly, be yourself ^_^
Macie Ratliff, I realize I am a whole year behind, soI hope you are well. I just wanted to throw my thoughts in... You are who you choose to be. Choose wisely. That involves the heart, as well as the head, but the choice is yours alone. Anyone who doesn't accept it has made their choice as well. A poor choice. With that being said, do you realize there is only one period in that whole post, and no other punctuation. I almost died trying to read that as it was written. Child, no matter what you choose to be, good Grammar is ALWAYS a good choice. ;-)
As old as this is, and admittedly I haven't been following spg for years- this was part of the reason I came out and continued to be who I am now. I'm really grateful to you, Isabella, thank you for not hiding who you are and being you unconditionally.
I put on this video becuase i was curious about how you've transormed over time, and my 11 year old asked " Is that Rabbit?" So i replied yea with out her makeup. She responded " She looks cool." So there ya go hunny. It was also your willingness to be yourself that Inspired my now 16 year old Son to be who he truly is too. So thank you! Your an awesome Lady with a beautiful voice keep doin what you do !
Holy shit, you're adorable. I've been away for a while, kid, forgot how charming you are when you sing started giggling like mad when I saw you at 0:36. Basically, daw.
This one is all too relatable. Seeing rabbit (and several other musicians) going through their transition is so confidence boosting, and it really just makes me wonder what the hell im waiting for. I guess fear will do that to ya. Thank you for this masterpiece
I am so proud for you. I am a straight, married guy with 3 kids and love your transformation. Well done and keep the anatomical electronic harmonies going. Love always from us in Scotland. X
I love bunny and who shes become. This song i go to when i dont feel good. Bunny brings me bk up. Keep up the awsome work bunny. Hugs. Ure awsome my friend! Im sooo proud of you! And who youve become! ❤❤❤😊
I got introduced to the band in 2015, a bit after this came out (ha, ha) and like... I think Bunny was one of the first trans people I really *saw*, very much. And I was just... fascinated by the whole idea. Apparently there was a reason for that. Hearing this, and all the music she's sung, after figuring it out is just... awe-inspiring, amazing. Thanks, Isabella.
The first part of they lyrics were iffy for me at first- but then the chorus and them sweet notes. I swear I melted. I think Bunny'd be an amazing jazz singer.
I’m here after the re-release of Transition and I must say, I’m crying. Isabella is so much more confident about herself and it’s clear to see! I’m so proud and happy for Her. Can’t wait for the next album 🥺💕
I recently got into SPG but goodness me this hit me right in the heart. I was tearing up less than half way through this song as this hits fairly close to the heart with me. I really adore this song as well as your voice. It's simply lovely.
I said it once on the Facebook page - and I will say it again: Those who truly love you, take you as you are - and LOVE you (like me, and so many of your fans). (and PLEASE don't feel like you need to hide or be "rebuilt".) You don't need to be "rebuilt" - you're just undergoing an "upgrade"! :D Just be happy, and be you - that is all I want to see.
I shared this with my sister. I feel this confidence will help her become the woman she wants to be just like you did. From day one I was so happy to see this change because it shows your freedom. Years now have passed and I still thinks it's the most beautiful transition I've ever seen. Much love from your fan, Bman.
Sometimes the algorithm works in mysterious ways - from a reaction video to Rammstein (so you get a sense of primary musical tastes) to a reaction video to Honeybee to the amazing craftmanship (because it is more than just the singing involved in this level of stagecraft) of the whole band and finally this video that confirms what I thought I saw in some of the older pre-transformation Rabbit videos. When not singing or 'working' a robotic movement, there seemed to be a melancholy 'cast' to Isabella's face that wasn't just explained by the angles of the makeup - and in the stills from that time in this video it is super obvious that there was an underlying sadness about something not being 'right'. Contrast that with the current stills of Rabbit (never mind any non-makeup appearances) and there is a visible happiness to the facial expressions. All can say is that I am glad that you found your authentic self and were in a place where you were safe enough to both express it and make it happen (I'm just a cis-gendered white male, so I can't ever really fathom the challenges involved in that). Keep making awesome music.
So I'm a little late to everything, just having found SPG this week, But Bunny, thanks for being open and sharing all you've been/are going though. Kudos to the whole group. And Kudos to the bulk of the fans who seem to reacting as they should :).
I literally became a fan of Steam Powered Giraffe two nights ago and I haven't been able to tear myself away from the music. I work on the assembly line at Ford in Oakville Canada and it's ten hours straight on your feet doing the same thing 650 times a shift. It's extremely important to find good music to listen to and I just have to say that listening to SPG makes it so much easier to get through the night. You are quite an inspiration, a talented musician and definitely a beautiful soul.
I absolutely love you... I came out myself long before I ever heard of SPG, and I've never really felt connected to any of the other 'spotlight Trans*-idols', their stories just don't seem that relevant to my life. But since discovering SPG (November 2014), you've helped me cope with my own issues that little bit easier... I desperately want to be able to travel to America to see one of your shows so I can say thank you in person. And this song made me cry a little... :'D It's so beautiful and emotional, and passionate... and I need to go have a lie down so I don't well up again... :'D Thank you Isabella Bennett, you are an amazingly talented, beautiful woman, and if anyone ever gives you any crap about your dysphoria, point them my way! I have a sword, and I'm not afraid to use it! :P
iv been following spg for about 4 years and i never found somthing that i dint like, rabbit you be who u what because no matter what you are amazing, the spine is amazing too but rabbit u are always beautiful and talented no matter how u transform. keep it up spg we all love ya
Damn....thanks for that lovely song Isabella no matter the gender your still you the lovable singing automaton/human we all grown to love.I think hearing this song just made the rest of my day happy.
I just discovered this group yesterday, thanks to You Tube recommending it. First video I watched was Honeybee, the zoo's version and then the beach version. How creative and entertaining, I thought. Then I watched some later videos, and my first reaction was, oh, I miss that lead singer on Honeybee, such a voice. Then I listened a little closer, and it dawned on me, that voice is the same, only they look different. So to Wikipedia I went, to read about lineup changes. Yep, same person, and the tall guy with the cool hat and that singer are twins! Imagine my confusion in sorting things out. As cool as you look, without those voices of yours, it would be a lesser experience. And now I listen to Transform, and it all comes together and makes sense. Thank you, Isabella/Rabbit, for helping this 70-year old white guy to understand. Your voices are angelic, is that too strong a word?
it's 1:30 in the morning and i almost feel like crying, this is such an amazing, beautiful, heart aching, song, thank you isabella for sharing it with us.
Is it odd that I burst out crying at :35? The second you showed your face, I lost it. You're so incredibly beautiful and strong, and I care about you guys so freaking much. I know, I know - "this girl is some stalkerish, obsessive fan, isn't she?" But, your story and growth as individuals and a band as helped me with my own life, and I can never thank you enough for being there for me. You guys are amazing
I must have lived under a rock cause I only discovered Steam Powered Giraffe last week. Watched videos over and over and now only seen Bunny turn to Rabbit transformation. Bravo!! So much talent and courage you process. Be who you want to be. Those who love you will be there, those that leave you never loved you. Love this song too!
You're so strong. I have no words for how I feel when I hear this song. I'm so proud of you for what you have done. Thank you for just being yourself, Izzy.
Isabella (Bunny)... I have watched your entire story/transformation and have so much respect and admiration for you! I would like to thank you for being such a wonderful person and for putting your story out here so others can look up to, adore and relate too. You truly are an inspiration to so many (including friends whom I have recommended your VBlogs too), you have helped them cope and i thank you for that as I am unable to relate to their struggle myself. Sorry it's long but you are mesmerizing with your beautiful voice and emotion through every performance. (Not to mention you look stunning!) Thank you and SPG for being part of my life *BIG LOVE* Your'e wonderful! And I cant wait to see you at the Asylum :-)
I honestly cannot say enough how happy I am for you, Izzy. When I first watched this and listened to the song, I was crying. Being a young trans person (trans male to be exact) you are one of my biggest idols. When I was getting to know the band and found out you were trans, I could not stop smiling. You're just so extremely motivating to me, with your transition and how happy you are right now about it, so I myself am hoping that someday I can be happy like you, too. Best of luck in the future Izzy, keep doing what you do best. I'm proud of you and the fact that you also transitioned Rabbit. We are going to love both her and you into the new year. I can't wait for the new albums!
this song actually makes me cry it hits home with me so baddly im happy for you miss bennet you are beautiful inside and out you inspire many people and i cant thank you enough your guys songs have given me the confidence to come out to my parents and friends i actually sent this song to my mom the other day before i told her and she broke down and hugged me and apologized for my entire life and i cant thank you enough please keep doing this keep making music you are the voice of so many people and i personally can not thank you enough
I watched this, and while i'm glad you are finally being you, the real you, the one thing that strikes me above all other things is how incredibly insanely talented you are. I cant get over it and I admire you so much for that. When I first saw you embracing your inner self i had to say it made me pause for all of one second, oh, bunny is a girl. Then I went back to wow bunny is so talented. Please keep it coming the world needs more like you ^^
I've just discovered S.P.G. about 9 months ago. I have no problem admitting this song brings me to tears. A very rough road I'm on right now even though I'm blessed by having the woman I absolutely adore by my side, I still feel very alone. Point is, this song is beautiful to me. Thank you. Thank all of you putting out this music. Sharing your creations.
While I will admit that I miss the old Rabbit character you are an amazing and talented person and I wish you all the best. You keep being you and I'll keep listening.
Finally after hearing the song for like the 5th time now, a music video for the song popped in my head. Imagine if, in a world where SPG was a band of actual machinations, and robots like The Jon and Hatchworth were not just characters, Rabbit is one of those...weird robots. At least, weird by social standards, because his programming/"soul" feels to be more than he is seen as. Rabbit lets people know he wants to be a woman-remade to look and talk as he feels-and the media goes wild. He is put before a panel of judges for doing what no automaton has ever done: wish to not just upgrade or change specifications, but to change their entire GENDER. It's one of those moments where the decision will change the future of all robot-kind, and honestly, it isn't looking good. To make a long story short, the public has issues with a "transgender" robot, thinking it unnatural and wrong. But Rabbit sings this song. The judges can't help it, they are moved to accept what Rabbit wishes, and makes it law: no robot, just as no human, is no longer restricted to their originating design's gender. Automatons can be whatever, whoever they want to be. I know, that's a lot to attribute a song to. But if you think about it, I think you'd agree, this song can change minds on how we see peoples' self-identity in society...I mean robots.
I felt like standing up clapping and shouting "BRAVO!!" after the song was over, but I'm alone in my room, so I'm shouting BRAVO!! on the internet instead
I just found y'all, and I'm proudly gender-neutral. Thank you for being an icon, though I've only just found you! Sending this to my sister to help with her dysphoria. This is the best random TH-cam romp I've ever done!
Thank you so much for writing this song. I'm struggling through life due to mental illness and I've been using your song to express my feelings to my friends and family. your song is the closest way I can describe to everyone how I feel all the time. You'll never know how much your song really means to me. I hope to one day be able to thank you in person. You are a beautiful person inside and out. Thank you.
As the mother and grandmother of two wonderful transgender people, I applaud you for your bravery. And my godds your talent!! Keep going Baby, you are amazing!!
This hits so close to home ❤️❤️❤️ Hart emojis are not strong enough to show the love I have for this song and Isabella. This song is so helpful to me and my friends. I can't thank you enough. I know it's probably stupid to comment all this but god this song just makes me so damn happy...thank you..thank you so much. 😭😭❤️❤️
I am so, so moved by this song and your performance. My transition happened in the early 2000s but the emotions you share still hit home as hard as that first time I fully expressed my need to be myself. Bless you and I cannot wait to see you perform in public once again.
Great song, and I love the video showing Rabbit's eventual change into Bunny. It's been quite the journey! I wish you the best of luck in continuing it and all the awesomeness you and Steam Powered Giraffe keep pumping out.
Not long after I began to accept who I really was, Isabella came out. I felt a little less alone, and she gave me the strength to explore my identity as a transgender man. I haven't cried this heard in a while; Isabella, you are beautiful, and I'm so happy you're transitioning. You look and sound so much happier, and it really shows! It's wonderful, and you shouldn't have to hide. Thank you for sharing this song, and for sharing your feelings, and I promise you that no matter what anyone says to you, this is right. You're doing the right thing, and you're a woman your fans can look up to.
This song was so touching, it brought tears to my eyes. I think the "roughness" of the recording, as you put it, actually lends itself beautifully to the emotional impact of the song's message.
Way too lazy to find my old comments but I am officially starting my first day of T (On my b-day~) while listening to this song 🥺 One year on T :) Happy rebirthday to me

It's been so amazing to see both the band's growth as individual people, but also as musicians. Like, could you have imagined 10 years ago posting a video with yourself as you are now, PLUS the raw, exposed vocals so beautifully performed? Yall weren't even particularly musicians when you first started busking in the park! So proud!

She has changed in one way, now she is much happier and more comfortable in her own skin.

Now I understand and I love her !!!!!

Nah, it's not too personal at all! I'm a trans dude.
Thanks!
Yeahhh! Trans boys unite!

Wow I'm reading this (and finding this song) on a day I'm having horrible dysphoria and shame. I'm also a trans guy and it made me cry on the train to hear your story while listening to this song💖 big love 💗
Do you know what then world needs - SPG action figures.

She has become herself. I think that's the best way to put it! :)

@Sam Sawyer - one has to wonder where you learned your manners. I cannot imagine why someone would be so rude on purpose.
I DID NOT KNOW I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT GODAMNIT I THOUGHT SHE WAS A COMPLETLY DIFFERENT MEMBER
A M F T B yeah same lol.
You still here??... Hope so ❤️ to you and stay 🏋️♀️
HUGS
@Mark Ups not the best choice of words pal
I was bullied too as a kid and one thing I can tell you now as a MUCH happier adult with friends who love and support me as a Lesbian TransWoman is this:
As long as you are alive, your life can almost certainly get better. So keep fighting for that better future!
Plus it's easier than ever to find supportive people, even if they're online and ever so far away ^^
Dear Miss Bennett,
I just wanted to say thank you.
Your fan,
Yuki
She is sooooo pretty!!! Even when her rabbit makeup was male, and when it was in the very beginning of becoming the male rabbit, she was still so pretty! She just grows more and more beautiful throughout these photos and her expression at the end of the song is just aaaa
From the tightest pants I've ever seen to the dress we all see and love.
But dem cheekbones is what makes it, I think.
I love the look back at all of the great makeup jobs that Isabella's worn over the years :3
I was skeptical of the change at first, but because of the rabbit ears, which were God awful. Now that those rabbit ears are gone, she does look really beautiful.
Aaron Andermadas
The ears weren't bad
They were just very disproportionate and gangly
A more ornate design would be lovely
Something small but still prominent
Maybe instead of sheet metal have it be two wired loops built into the hat
Amazing makeup. Ugh I love her so much!
true story: the first two songs I listened to by spg where honeybee and I'll rust with you. I seriously thought they just had a bunch of people as singers and uses whoever was needed
Dave Sprague Sssssaaaaaaammmmmmeeeeeee
I watched Brass Goggles, Captain Albert Alexander, Automatonic Electronic Harmonics, Honeybee, and then I Don't Have A Name For It. I thought they both switched Rabbit and The Jon, but I kept seeing Rabbit still being mentioned in comments
Same here...I think if people are attracted to an artist sexually...they are not enjoying the trip. Sex of the Artist should have no bearing.
@@theword4501 I don't see where sexual attraction was mentioned (you're not wrong, just seems like you replied to the wrong comment or something)

Best parenting win.
Psa; please don’t say “transgendered”
What a beautiful thing to teach your children! I love seeing people accept others for who they truly are! It gives me hope for the youtube comments section. 😂
@@ActuallyDiogenes you prefer transformer? Smh
ActuallyDiogenes Wait, what's the issue with that? Most of my trans friends call themselves by that descriptor.
Wow, thank you so much for sharing that with us Miss Isabella.
You and David both never fail to amaze at how you can create these wonderful songs on such short notice.
Looking forward to hearing the polished album version.
What I understood, this is not going to be on a Steam Powered Giraffe album, but on Isabella's own album. :D
puffnisse Ah sweet. I totally missed that part. *Big Grin*
Phil Bolton It was in the comment om this video.
puffnisse Aww gimme a break. Sometimes I miss stuff.
But I'll go ahead and edit my comment.
Phil Bolton I know, everyone misses something sometime.
❤ multiple SPG songs played at my wedding 🥰
This video really is beautiful, I'm so happy you're living your life as your true, authentic self ❤
Screw Jenner, this is REAL courage that the trans community should get behind.

Thank you bunny. Im trans ftm and this song is making me feel more comfortable with myself.Truely, thank you.
+Steam Powered Giraffe I absolutely love this song because I am trans and for the longest time I tried to please everyone else and society and I am so sick of it I am so sick of people treating the things they fear with hate and anger it honestly makes me a bit sick to think about it. I know there are a lot of accepting people but I have had a lot of people stare at me when I wear makeup and stuff like that but it's alright I don't mind because they just don't understand me and that's alright I don't mind at all
be strong and be yourself
Child, no matter what you choose to be, good Grammar is ALWAYS a good choice. ;-)
Macie Ratliff your so cute :)
Coming back to this four years later after the re-release of this song made me cry. You've come so far and I'm so proud.
the more I listen to this the more Love luv Love Bunny!
Wait...***** cover? You have the perfect voice...
I'm annoyed with you constantly singing Frozen.
And hey...maybe Bunny has a karaoke version she'd be willing to share? Hmmm?
*****?
Not really. But why not give it a shot?
Let's not spam her.
AHHHHHHH! THE FACE SHE MAKES AT THE END OF THE VIDEO WAS SO CUTE! I'M DYING!
Well said.
This..
Yes
See? Look at all these kick-butt super-loving supporters who love you for you, Bun-Bun! You're amazing, and we loooooooove you!~
Back from the new Transform Music Video. I love both.
Welcome to the SPG community!

I come back to this song every so often. its one of my favorites and makes me feel so happy and so seen. Thank you, Isabella

MADAME MACABRE, MY QUEEN! YOU LIKE STEAM POWERED GIRRAFE! I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE NOW!
This video makes me cry every time I watch it. I love you, Bunny.
This gave me chills. Amazing work, Bunny. We love you so much.
It's so beautiful and emotional, and passionate... and I need to go have a lie down so I don't well up again... :'D
Thank you Isabella Bennett, you are an amazingly talented, beautiful woman, and if anyone ever gives you any crap about your dysphoria, point them my way!
Your voices are angelic, is that too strong a word?
bunny is such a perfect name for you, its cute and sassy
0:46 I love the way you poke your little tongue out! ^_^ Bunny-face you're so cuuuute!
+VampiressOfShadows lol trueeee
it's 1:30 in the morning and i almost feel like crying, this is such an amazing, beautiful, heart aching, song, thank you isabella for sharing it with us.
LISTENING TO THIS WHILE DRAWING WAS A BAD IDEA

(Not to mention you look stunning!)
Thank you and SPG for being part of my life *BIG LOVE*
Your'e wonderful! And I cant wait to see you at the Asylum :-)
This damn near moved me to tears there was so much heart...thank you
Never thought a song could open my eyes as this one did. Beautiful.
I find this song amazingly moving. I keep listening to it over and over and I love it every time.
My autistic kiddo came out to me as Trans a month age. This song has been a big help. Thank you from a father of amazing kid.
After doing some research, I rewatched this video. Stunning. Heartfelt. Just wow.
Isabella, you are perfect in the way that you are.
Stay awesome ;3

Seriously the trans icon we all need. I really needed this song.
I just came across this group today, you can feel and hear the emotion and heart put into this song. love it!
While I will admit that I miss the old Rabbit character you are an amazing and talented person and I wish you all the best. You keep being you and I'll keep listening.

No, Isabella is a woman.
She is transgender and is a she. There is no reason for you to be rude to me or Bunny, all I did was politely point out that Isabella is now a woman.
+Caitlyn WIlliams HIS chromosomes won't change by hormones. Now get your hippy bullshit out of science's way.
MrTomas656 I am not a hippy. I was not rude to you so stop being rude to me. Gender Dysphoria is a real condition that can be diagnosed by doctors.
Simply lovely. So very moving. Thank you , Isabella.
You misgendered Rabbit multiple times in this though.
@@lilysmith2078 I imagine "he" meant that's how everybody knew rabbit at the time
Oh god that last stanza just kicked me right in the feelings. Thank you kindly for sharing that.
I felt like standing up clapping and shouting "BRAVO!!" after the song was over, but I'm alone in my room, so I'm shouting BRAVO!! on the internet instead
Beautiful song and sentiment from a beautiful person. Well played Miss Bennett,...well played!
This is so beautiful and touching. I'm in tears. I love SPG so much!
This hits so close to home ❤️❤️❤️
Hart emojis are not strong enough to show the love I have for this song and Isabella.
Thank goodness, I saw you in newer videos and was afraid they'd replaced their lead.
I think my favorite part of this song is that it's right in my range.
What a beautiful story and a voice. Loved it. Thank you
Way too lazy to find my old comments but I am officially starting my first day of T (On my b-day~) while listening to this song 🥺

Is there any hope/chance of you all doing a Florida tour in the future?
The first picture of Rabbit is super surreal.
It's so cool to look back and see how much she's changed! You're really inspiring to me Ms. Bennett!
Izzy you look amazing both before and after I'm so glad that you can be who you want and be who you are comfortably
I hope to meet you all here in England you guys are amazing
Lots of love for you all but specially I'm so happy that you get to be the person you are now
We support you through all your changes and all the future holds
It's been so amazing to see both the band's growth as individual people, but also as musicians. Like, could you have imagined 10 years ago posting a video with yourself as you are now, PLUS the raw, exposed vocals so beautifully performed? Yall weren't even particularly musicians when you first started busking in the park! So proud!
