Great idea guys. I have been using risers for a while now, they really showcase your collection.Instead of looking like just random toys they look more like collectible figures.The risers also look great lighted up with led strip lights.Ebay is another great place to find these risers in all sorts of shapes and sizes.Awesome episode my friends

Once I'm able to have more room and get more figures, I'll definitely have to pick some of these up. I just display my figures on a cubie and have some of those clear stands with the nipple thing at the bottom, just for the figures that don't cooperate. Thanks for the advice on the risers. I bought a 2-pack of the 9x6 Phattopa brand from Amazon for $23. Didn’t come with screwdriver but was able to screw the legs on by firmly pushing down on the screw while twisting the legs. These came with a plate with notches that would connect to the pegs at the bottom of the bottom step. One of the stands I cracked that plate near the rear where there isn’t much acrylic while pushing it in but it still holds OK and I’m able to use the stand. I can fit 4 figs close together on each step. I use sticky tack on the bottom of my Black Series figs to hold them to the stand. Some have weak ankles so they lean over onto other figs but at least no domino effect. 🙂

Hey guys thanks for the information on risers! I have the ones that are separate and stackable but, I’m not sure I like them as much as those you are showing! That’s helpful in my decision making for future purchases! I have also been using blocks of wood cut to fit my bookshelf and they work well but yours are more aesthetically pleasing. 2x3's (wood) work great if you know how to use a saw. You can cut and stack them to the exact length and spray paint them what ever color you want. And they allow you to custom design your display which allows for some variety in your display. Acrylic works better if your display has lighting elements. The 2x3's just creates darkness. My problem is that I have so many damn figures now.
I will probably eventually incorporate wood for the general shelves. I like the idea of painting it and trying to match your shelf color too. Thanks for watching, Allen! -Justin
Oh yes, I bought two of transparent risers few months back. Found them on aliexpress. And the display looks sooo much better with those. A strong recommendation for the 6 inch collectors.
I’ve been using acrylic risers for years now on my Billy Bookshelves from iKea. I have wider 3 step risers (probably 18” wide with 1.5” steps) that I get from a local The Container Store. They’re not as tall as what you display, nor do they fit in my detolf. But they are perfect for the bookshelves.
I use large glass rectangular plates and i raise them with transparent plastic tubes, it works perfect and it works exactly the same as acrylic risers, i only spent a little money, great videos as always
I like the new "lane" this video falls into with collection display ideas. As a loose and boxed collector, finding ways to get the back row figures seen is always a challenge. I've tried a similar tiered stand and love how it raises the shelf for some vertical display. Any other ideas for videos like this? Shelf options. Types of lighting. Inventory apps for tracking your collection. Keep up the great content guys.

Home Depot and Lowes carry inexpensive pink foam insulation squares (2' x 2') easily cuttable and paintable. A little hot glue and they make great risers.

These look good! I like the display stand you've shown before as well, makes the likes of Jango and Bobo look amazing with their jet packs mid flight. I'm getting more figs myself and the dusting is becoming an issue but god they look good!

But deep enough for snow speeder and land speeder to fit. Then alternate them every four months, based on movie, from my storage unit. -What do you think of that set up and idea? - The Disneyland Neighbor PS. I use museum putty to stand the figures.

I found some similar acrylic risers, from Amazon, that I use in my Milsbo cabinet from Ikea. I also use clear stands with a peg for those hard to pose figures and they have really reduced the random avalanches that drive me crazy. Nice video
Lately in my detolfs I've been putting tiny balls of poster putty under the figures feet! I'm sure it would work on the risers too I haven't had a domino effect of figures in months since I started
Oh I forgot to mention in my previous post that I use museum putty to help control avalanches. Most of my BS figures do okay without it but battle droids and grievous HAVE to have it to stand for more than a couple hours. It keeps them standing and you can remove it without leaving residue on either the figure or the risers.
Was looking at these for while now. Made my own riser out of a white shelf but it only is one level high so I wouldn’t mind having that 3-4 levels, I’m constantly running out of room anymore 😂
Shelves? Mine are custom. I used planks of finished wood shelves, brackets, and drywall anchors. However we also love the Detolf shelf from IKEA. -Justin
Customs involve some work of course. I don't have a bookshelf for my figures like I do my blu-ray collection. They are mounted off the wall. You can customize the dimensions, how long it is, how much space is between your shelves, etc. -Justin
Demote that naughty xenomorph! Never used boxes to display figs. Seems like a terrible idea. They will move/ bow/degrade. A fair few bs figs are hard to stand on 'solid ground' let alone flowy packaging. My figs are all on glass shelves but I will run out of space soon so 'rhyzzhorrs' are definitely the way to go. Clean and classy, just like me! The photos you showed with them look super cool. A 'pro-look' for sure. As for cost, 15 figs looking real nice, or 16 figures looking like a bag of shite?!!

Living in South Texas during the summer months the backroom gets warm and I always suffer from figures falling over due to the plastic warming up. LOL
