Sam and Riley are both perfect as Billy and Daisy. Hands down! I’m glad they were both cast. Sam us know for playing Finnck from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and Mockingjay Part 1 & 2

Hi Amazon, we need a Season 2 because we can't get enough of this. Bring them together in Austin in the 80's. Most of the iconic places have not changed a bit since then!
I loved these episodes so much, I ordered the book. I had to see how it ends. I read the book in 2 days. It took 2 days because it got delivered late. I opened it around 5pm and kept reading until 2 the next day. With a 6 hour sleep break. (I’m on a break from work) Loved the book so much. The series takes some liberties but is pretty faithful so far. It’s a great book and great story. The actors and direction are great.
Great casting…but my main concern about the show is the "drug" aspect that has been lowered waaaaaay too much. When you read the book, you truly feel that addiction, creativity and confrontation are strong themes that TJR wanted to point out…unfortunately I think the druggy/addiction aspect being diluted affects some scenes of the show and characters, especially Daisy! Also, can’t laugh enough to see a band called the Six…with only 5 members 😂 It’s not a bad show, it does have charisma, but really needs to step up in the writing department imo.
congratulations this is how you make a masterpiece I've worked with producer artist and I'm so blessedand happy to see the rough drafts before it's even an official song her singi are incredible and she actually interviewed that that was her two voice exactly it doesn't have to be so easy if they both see the song in a whole different perspectivein the best part is workableartist doesn't have to be on the same pageon stage there's a disagreement and you work through it
For younger fans of the show who would not be familiar with the pre Fleetwood Mac era,, I do suggest that you all listen to the "Buchingham / Nicks" album. (Before they joined Fleetwood Mac). The music there is identical.(The Buckingham / Nicks album is from 1973. It has a black and white picture of the two on it ). I'm lucky enough to have both the vinyl (bought in 1973) and the CD (bought around 2017).
I just stumbled across this and while watching it I was thinking, is this loosely based on Buckingham and Nicks. Then I read your comment. I too have the original B. N. Vinyl
Very cool show/book concept, only critique is that the music sounds quite a bit like modern folk and doesn’t really have the “it” factor that late 70s folk rock did. They definitely had to make the soundtrack appealing to modern kids but I think they should’ve taken a risk and gone with a more CSN, Linda rondstat, mama and papas laurel canyon-esque sound for the music
A question from a person who just saw 2 clips of this show: so she just came to the group, changed the song HE wrote, made it ok with producer, never informed the male singer-songwriter and now questioning him about his honesty. Right?😆😆😆
I agree with the song man, do it both ways without becoming a child about it. She seems to be a pretty, smart young lady, know him he seems to be spoiled.
I did not see any audience Corina. What I saw were four band members who worked just as hard to make the band successful as the two of them. In my opinion Daisy was being dismissive of Billy's bandmates who by the way had been with him longer and especially for someone who was joining the band for the first time. Sometimes a little consideration and respect does not hurt.
@@julietteSoul Um...she was also supposed to be a performer Juliette which basically means learning to work around and in front of an audience was her job. Do you mean to tell me she was this nervous in front of a small group of people? Bands have to perform in front of millions of people so that just made no sense.
They should dedicate that show to Riley’s late mother Lisa Marie Presley (the daughter of the late King of Rock N’ Roll Elvis Presley, and the ex-wife of the late King of Pop MJ) who sadly passed away on January 12 2023 from Cardiac Arrest 2 days after her appearance in the Golden Globes 2023 which Austin Butler won for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for playing her father Elvis
