Honestly, prop rods are more reliable than gas struts. I used to think it was too old school but working at dealerships and auctions, when gas struts fail, they fail, especially when you need it most.
The reverse light has nothing to do with global sales, if it was my focus st would also have it down there. The focus ST, and RS both are global cars, and there reverse lights are in the tail lights
I have a 2015 Mustang GT with performance pack and Recaro seats. No 1 thing i hate PANEL GAP.and your right about that damned hood rod. and that ugly bubble. But other than panel gap they are fixable. Love my car, fun as hell yo!
This is being nitpicky as hell. I mean seriously, to complain about what props the hood open?? If youre so nervous about hood struts, theres products you can buy that will make sure the hood doesnt slam down when youre working on it. Personally, i dont work on engines, so i dont consider this a big deal. I rarely open the hoods on my cars. Im not a mechanic, and i dont go to car shows. I thought this video was going to have some REAL issues about the 2017 Mustang GT, these are just trivial.
lmfscrew I've got a 2004 falcon xr8 I'm in Australia and the struts suck so maybe I guess Ford don't have descent struts but man I could do with a prop.
I had a 2007 s197, now have 2015 s550..... i like the current location of cup holders as they are out of the way now. But I imagine that is only a problem if you have a stick.
I hate that the car doesn't come with 4 piston rears. I know it's not needed but the competition (camaro, challenger) comes stock with 4 piston rears. Just makes the car look cheap with those rears that come on the car.
i like the mustangs but there so badly made it;s a shame because i really wanted one but im not goin to pay $50,000 plus (aud) for a car that was built by stevie wonder
@@lmfscrew While the ss was my old car, it had enough bolt ons to snap the 5.0 into shape. However, I currently have an s550 too bud. Kooks headers, gt350 intake manifold, steeda tune and cai, it would show you the way on the highway my friend.
Very nice backdrop image in your video starting at 0:19, then you spoil it by driving that blue thing into it! Yes they are cheaply made. But you can buy aftermarket hood struts for it, like you can buy a nicer water tank. You want Ford to test drive the product for a million miles and correct the bugs before releasing it? Only the better car companies do that.
I did get what i paid for and that's not a bad thing lol None of the things i stated are actual degrading problems, simply things i picked out simply to make this video. I am a American v8 car guy 100%.
We want reliability..........hence the Pony car. LMFAO BTW all the M lovers like the "older" M cars. So, while they're paying out the nose for a "eh" M car.....we get damn near the same performance for half the price.

I have a gt. All black. Black pkg. love it. Totally loaded.
Love the blue and black combo bro
I have a 2018, I do agree the door handles feel a bit chintzy.
You can buy aftermarket hood struts to fix that problem of the prop rod. Cheap and easy install
I think some of the cheapness came from the cost of R&D for the IRS. My 2004 GTO had a better hood opener.
Would rather have a hood prop rod than one that fails after a year, but is pretty cheap
Wish I had a mustang

Other than under my headlights all my panel gabs seem good to me! and heck yea, mustangs are the best!

The mustang hates it’s owner tenfold
Hey there's nothing wrong with prop rods mate trust me they don't wear out like struts do.
Yes there is something wrong with them lol its 2018 i see 90 model ford tarus with them still working fine lol
lmfscrew I've got a 2004 falcon xr8 I'm in Australia and the struts suck so maybe I guess Ford don't have descent struts but man I could do with a prop.
Badass outro dude!
Thanks!
i would hate that drive way never be able to keep black wheels clean
LOL the brakes are gonna dirty em up first.
2011 5.0 manual...i hate the cup holder spot that's about it
At least the s197 has the cover you can put over them lol

My 93 F150 has hood struts... that’s crazy
Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Nissan all powered by Greed, and expectations that the stupid customer will keep coming back. I know one sucker who won't be.
Does it have hill assist just curious lol
your bubble is called a surge tank
i was wondering about that plastic water bottle under the hood for a long time
I think you're being picky the cars great I've had two of them I've got a 17 I love it👍👌😉🇺🇲

What mpg do you get on it?
18-25
lmfscrew I’m thinking about getting one but I drive mostly highway (80%) you think I’d get at least 24 average if I don’t step on hard
@@HookandBookinc2003 gt 2v got 25 on hwy within the year 30k miles now debating on s550 or s197 5.0 of course

Hey I know I’m late but cool S550 ! I’m gonna get one before October and I know it!
Thanks!
Lmaoo man we have the exact same opinions on this car , it’s crazy
I agree on the hood struts, but if they save $5 for each car, and sell 100,000 of them, they just saved $500k
but on a 30k+ car who would complain if they marked up an extra $100 for some factory hood struts lol

Title = First World Problems 😆
And paint that damn coolant tank. I have a video on it. Easy as hell.
just drop a couple hundred bucks and get the metal one that's better anyway if it bothers you that bad.
Sahadi420 why drop a couple hundred bucks when you can paint it for like $10-$15. Cheap yet effective.
Prop rod = disappointment.
weight savings
never fails
:)
Hood struts are dirt cheap.
Thus the reason they should come factory.
lmfscrew aftermarket ones are cheap is what I'm saying. If you hate the prop so much, get rid of it!
But stating that they are cheap is more of a reason ford should include them from factory lmao i know i could easily buy aftermarket ones.
Lmao your video was funny
Prop rod? Really? Who gives a shit.
Everyone that goes to car shows.....
*I HATE Window Tinting - it ruins visibility*
I love window tint lol it doesn't hurt visibility at all unless its darker than the legal limit.
