I did it! and it worked, thanks for you video, very clear and helpful. I didn't have any silicone grease at hand so did without, hope it holds up, if not I know what to try next.

This video proved invaluable when my Triton Rapide shower began leaking. Obtaining and fitting a new pressure seal as recommended got the job done…….many thanks!

Thank you so much for this video. I've had this exact problem on this model and didn't know where to start. I'm a basic diyer and managed to complete this with your help with minimal problems. My water pipe is in my wall so I had to turn the mains off. On the first try I couldn't get the valve out due to not being able to wiggle the solenoid and valve out of position as the water pipe was in the way, so I unscrewed the box above the valve to get space and went in from the top instead, just pulling the valve a few mm away from the wall to get enough access to the screws. This method didn't work as I couldn't screw the valve top back tight enough to keep it from leaking. So back in I went, and used a bit more force (and bravery) to get the valve out properly and complete the job. Thank you so much, no more leaking shower, no more worry, and all for less than a tenner. Tip for getting that difficult screw in on the left of the valve, put your screw on a magnet and put it in place by going in from the bottom and behind, then attack with a screwdriver from the front, worked like a dream!

Brilliant!... thanks for your comments, It’s always great when a video helps someone out, I’m far from expert, bravery is the word, have a go is my logic, kind regards

Update. 14 months after fitting I've had the same problem. After changing the stabiliser valve again, there's no leaks now but I was expecting it to last longer than 1 year as the previous one was over 10 years old with no problems. I haven't used silicone grease either time, do you think this would prolong the life? (the one I've just replaced was bought from a reputable supplier, and I did clean it and replace it first this time round, but it was still leaking (there was no signs of wear or dirt, just some limescale on the plastic outside of the valve cover that I cleaned off in case it was stopping the top from closing 100 %). Any thoughts anyone please?

Sorry my question was not completed, I want to say that I have two units rated 230v and mains power supply available is 220v maximum, presently it is not getting hot and very low water flow hot or cold. Is there a possible way to make the units work.

I find in that situation, current is the problem not voltage, it needs to be a least a 30 amp circuit, Hope this helps
