Many beautiful pieces, Joanne, but my favorite would the fall leaf table cloth. The slips were lovely and back in the day when I wore skirts and dresses I had many of them. For those who are unaware, your dress or skirt hangs much better when worn with a slip, also the light weight fabrics are see through in the sunlight. Thanks for sharing this lovely haul. Have a Blessed day and hugs for you and the fur babies.
I loved the 52x70 tablecloth with the fall leaves and also the 52x52 blue tablecloth with napkins. What pretty tablescapes I could enjoy with those. Joanne, you are so 'stunning" too!
Quite a few favourites today the blue oil lamp the owl salt and pepper shakers the peacock dish the lace shawl and the large glass tray .another great varied haul T
Hi Joanne, hope you are well today. I love all your blue items, so pretty. That blue salt box, it looked like one my foster father had on the farm. We had a wood stove and he had a box like that, he kept the matches to light the stove....so I don't know for sure. I just remember that. The blue oil lamp is special. You picked up lots of pretty items. Take care hugs.
You certainly could use that blue box for holding matches. Honestly, I was guessing it was a salt box LOL! So glad you enjoyed my haul, thank you. Hugs.
The blouse you’re wearing is lovely on you. Repaired or not, the black glass candleholder is a beautiful piece. Fenton was not marked prior to 1970. The mark in the fan vase might be a “straw mark”, which is a defect in the making of it rather than a crack. Your Polonia paperweight (made in Poland) is a great piece. I remember culotte slips back in the 60s. WOW! The glass tray is spectacular! My favorites today are the glass tray and the Polonia paperweight. Hugs!
Thank you so much for watching and for your wonderful insights about the items! I have made notes so I hopefully will remember what you shared in the future. Hugs.
Well heck, there are things in this world that nothing else does it justice, but "stunning". ☺ I really love the thrifted blouse you have on. I remember when you showed it. My first thought was that, that fabric print was not for a cheap blouse. It really is lovely on you. I have several favs. I do like the peacock canister. And that green "folded" bowl. Have a good week. HUGS ☺🙏🇺🇸🐘🍁🐿
ALL the blue. Can you imagine a vignette for Christmas using these items? I had a blue theme Christmas one year. The half circle planter, if holds water, I would do the mothball snowflake. It's cool. Great finds!! Love and Hugs!!!
I'll bet that was a beautiful Christmas. When Kaitlin was young, we would pick a different color every year to decorate out tree. Thank goodness that the Dollar Tree was just a dollar back then. Love you!
So many things I like this week but love the owl salt and peppers. I have a lot of owls too😊 I think the green draw has to do with the fact that blue is a very big part of creating green on the color wheel. I love any shade of blue and green.
I am glad you liked the finds! Yes, I was wearing my thrifted blouse. I rarely buy anything in retail stores anymore. I thrift just about all my clothes. Thank you for noticing it. Hugs!
Hi Joanne, beautiful “blue” video😁❣️It’s amazing sometimes when your out shopping how the day seems to find its own theme !!! I like those days…….my favorite today was the “stunning” green beaded table runner. It really looked wonderful on the video, too. I sent you an email today. Take care and snuggles to the crew❣️😊
Wonderful haul. I loved the green Murano candy dish. I can just see the red hot glass being gently folded over in that one area! The salt box is a treasure too. I’m a fan of “hand made” ceramics. (That’s why I have over 30 ceramic Christmas trees-just found another one this weekend!) I’m sure everything will fly off the shelves in your booth! 😊
That is what some others have said about the slip shorts too. Thanks. The 'crack' on that vase may be a flaw from manufacturing and is called a straw mark. That is what someone else said. I am always learning new things from folks. Hugs.
I like the blue hurricane lamp. Those bloomers are called petit pants, pronounced petty pants. They came out in the late 60s or early 70s and are still in style. They were a godsend because they didn’t ride up from static electricity like slips did. I was very fortunate. My mother was an excellent seamstress and she would make my blazers, dresses, suits, coats and lingerie. Everything was stunning. I have retained a few pieces because they are lovely and she made them. You should have seen my prom dresses. Wow.
It sounds like your mother was a talented seamstress, I love the idea of having vintage garments that are made with love! What a keepsake from her. My mom was not a sewer. My sister is the one who taught me how to sew and give me my first sewing machine. It lasts for decades. I finally had to give it up when it stopped working several years ago. Hugs.
Hi, Joanne. I believe the nylon slip shorts as you called it were called petti pants. That’s what they were called back in the 60’s and 70’s. Love all the glass pieces. I love the blue glass. The shawl was very beautiful. Loved the roses on it. Hope you and the animals are well. Hugs to all. 👍🥰💜🎃🎃🍁🍁
Thanks, you are right. I had to look that up and you are right, they are "Petti Pants!" We are all doing great and hope you are too. Hugs from my crew.
Could be, that is what I thought. Someone else said their dad had one and kept matches in it. I guess, if it fits, you could put whatever you wanted in it. Hugs.
I have, but I don't use them all the time so I'm not sure I want them hanging around my neck. I simply need to remember them when I am about to do a video. Hugs.
My fav is the peacock cannisters. Beautiful.😊
I agree, it is beautiful. Hugs.

I still wear slips when I wear dresses. Even if they aren't see through. I agree, the clothes hang better. Wishing you a wonderful week. Hugs always.
Love the blue pieces
Me too. Hugs.
I loved the 52x70 tablecloth with the fall leaves and also the 52x52 blue tablecloth with napkins. What pretty tablescapes I could enjoy with those. Joanne, you are so 'stunning" too!

I thought so too. Hugs.

Thanks so much, Rebecca. I rarely wear jewelry, but thought I might step things up a bit. Hugs.

I have to agree with you. Hugs.

It really is good stuff. Hugs.
Wow! What lovely treasures you found! My favorites are the black glass candle holder and the blue glass tray. They are really special pieces!
I'm so glad you liked those! I think they are special too. Hugs.
You look very nice today! My favorite is the blue glass tray and the blue oil lamp. Lots of nice things
Thank you so much. I love that blue glass tray as well. I was surprised at how heavy it was. Hugs.
My favorite is the blue oil lamp. Great haul Joanne.
Thanks! It’s a great piece, I think! Beautiful color. Hugs.

I think it is too. Hugs.
Like the blue oil lamp. Great haul beautiful glass.
It was one of my favorites too. Hugs.
The peacock canister is beautiful! It could be used in any room, as a decorative piece.
I agree, it's beautiful! I'm glad you liked it. Hugs.

The blue glass was my favorite whether light blue or darker 💙 all
I do think blue glass is so pretty, even though I say I am a green person LOL! Hugs.

You may be right about that. Hugs.
Lovely finds Joanne. No favorites but I see you are wearing your thrifted shirt!...B

30+ ceramic Christmas trees! I am so jealous in a good way. I have one and treasure it. Hugs.
Those "slip shorts" were from the 60/70's. Called Petti-pants. I like that Fenton Fan vase, but too bad it was cracked.
That is what some others have said about the slip shorts too. Thanks. The 'crack' on that vase may be a flaw from manufacturing and is called a straw mark. That is what someone else said. I am always learning new things from folks. Hugs.

the owls are really cute!
You should have seen how many owls there were. They were all over the house inside and out. Hugs.
My favorite was the big platter you showed T the end.
I agree, that is a pretty piece. Thanks for sharing your favorite. Hugs.

Thanks, you are right. I had to look that up and you are right, they are "Petti Pants!" We are all doing great and hope you are too. Hugs from my crew.
I think that blue piece is a saltbox…❤
Could be, that is what I thought. Someone else said their dad had one and kept matches in it. I guess, if it fits, you could put whatever you wanted in it. Hugs.
I call those bloomers
I think the slips with legs may be petti-pants.
Liked the gold platter with acorns!
I had to look that up. You are right, that is exactly what they are. Thanks so much!! Hugs.
Cant believe you got all that for 60 dollars. What a deal everything is gorgeous
I have to say, I really enjoy going to estate sales. You can find some interesting pieces and usually at great prices. Hugs.
I like going last day so get cheaper or family run ones first day
@@marybeute2838 I agree, the last day is the best.
I think the blue salt glaze piece is for matches. I liked the oil lamp.
Someone else said that too. I guess you could use it for just about anything. Hugs.
I think my favorite was the peacock dish.
That is a very pretty piece for sure. Hugs.
The blue glass

I have, but I don't use them all the time so I'm not sure I want them hanging around my neck. I simply need to remember them when I am about to do a video. Hugs.
