When I feel overwhelmed by the enemy and his nonsense in my life, I play this song on my phone. It saved me from suicide on 12 July 1995 at 1:30am. I was supposed to be a blood spot on the Southbound side of the 57fwy jumping off the Imperial Hwy overpass. This is why I trust in the Lord Jesus.
It’s because half the Christian stations play “positive” or “encouraging” music. Most of the Christian songs nowadays are more about the person singing then about Jesus. They don’t even sound like worship songs anymore.
I remember coming home off the bus and seeing my mother in prayer and worship to this music. I eventually, because of the foundation that was laid by my parents, took my place alongside her in worship. I looked up this song because my adult son is going thru something where he has called upon his father and I for prayer and as I was interceding in the nighttime hours, this song came to my heart. And I realized because of the foundation laid by my parents, my husband and I laid that same foundation for our children and my son is calling on the Lord. He knows where his help comes from. What a great God we serve! If anyone is reading this that is feeling hopeless or fearful for their child- I believe and see very clearly- in this time- the Lord is standing up, marching into the enemies camp, rolling up His sleeve, thrusting out His hand and showing the name inscribed on the palm of His hand, snatching up what is His and saying to the enemy- This one is mine!! So, remember, the battle truly does belong to the Lord!
I have two daughters and they heard me doing the very same thing. Today they pray similarly. The foundation is so important. These are powerful songs. I miss them also. They are certainly anointed. God's blessings to you.

I miss this genre of Christian worship and I praise. I was brought up and my Christian foundation was so solid with these sort of worship songs. Yes the battle will not be lost...it is only to us to decide which roles we want to play in that battle. And, by so choosing, count the cost of battle. People will die, some will perish entirely, lost by our failure. By our actions, or lack of actions, the course of the battle will wax and wane. God shall carry the day, but we have a great deal of power to determine just how much damage is done in the process. Right now we face war on many fronts, but as always the greatest threat is the closest. Many make war in the name of god, but not all will he recognize in the accounting. I'm sorry, I know I sound grim, but are grim times. Hopefully we will rekindle, and the price will be less steep. But too many seem uncaring, cruel, merciless, or hateful. Hate claws at us daily, fed by events, charismatic leaders, and exhaustion. Just because we know how it ends, doesn't mean this is going to be easy, or that we may sit back and ignore our responsibilities. Right now the greatest threat to our faith comes with within, not from without. Hopefully the darkness can yet be set back, because if not by our hands, then it will be by the lord's hand. And historically...that generally will be rather traumatic for all of us.

I had this song by Maranatha on a cassette tape in the 1980s. I played it in our real estate office almost every day, and the Lord saw us through many difficult battles! Jesus has gained all victory for us! He is our victorious, Lord! He never fails! He brought us through many battles and in the end, we were the winners!❤
I heard this song and one from Lenny LeBlanc called Strong Arm. I think the name of the tape was desert storm; made for the soldiers fighting during that time. It even had the interludes in between songs that were filled with positive messages from the Word. Are you familiar or have heard of it?

The enemy is lying to us that this world is out of control trying to enslave us to fear but God is still in control. Our Savior sits on His throne and stands next to each and everyone of us.
