To see all South Pacific Nations, Pasifika, do their own Hakas, for their Countries is, for me, a resonance of soul. I always cry, they are all so spectacular, wonderful and deeply meaningful. @@ianrawlings2546 always keep in mind, after a rugby World Cup, under 21’s national team players should be included in senior teams training and also get game time . I am a big believer in giving keen, younger players opportunities early on

Lol. The cibi is a war dance to initiate wars. The haka is a war dance made to try and scare off the enemy. Look into the history of Fiji. There’s a reason they never got invaded by white people. Everytime Americans tried to set foot in Fiji they’d get f’d up by the native Fijian from Fijian killing them, burning warehouses they’d built etc. it got to the point where Americans wanted to send an entire army to deal with the Fijian but the high chief of Fiji at that time used his head and created an alliance with the queen of England which is why Fiji has a lot of respect for the royal family because they decided to become Allies instead of trying to conquer Fiji like the Americans. Fiji have a long history of whooping other pacific island nations in ancient wars. Most notably was the war against Tonga and their leader Ma’afu who tried to invade the main island in Fiji and got slaughtered to the point where he had to retreat with his remaining soldiers. The people of Lau in Fiji felt sorry for him and his men and allowed them to live out the rest of their lives there. I went on a little rant lol but long story short, the cibi is a war dance that is actually meant to start fights whereas the haka is a war dance that is an attempt to scare off the enemy.
