The LootGoose Story | My Journey Joining Wyrmwood

Time to talk through how I joined Wyrmwood, what happened when I was there and why LootGoose became Viridian 2.0. Honk!
This is also the first video Ive ever spent any real time editing. My apologies if some of the cuts are rough-- Im still learning!

Hey Mike, I'm glad to hear your story on this as I saw you on Wyrmlyfe and glad to see that things ended amicably and that you are continuing on with your ideas. I used to run a hobby shop for someone else and I know what it is like to come in with passion, take it on as your own and sometimes things don't work out, but then they do in the way we didn't expect. Onwards and upwards for Viridian 2.0!

I was telling my roommate about your video (as we used WW tiles) and he went “oh I know who that is”. He works at TCGPlayer and buys games at your storefront with nothing but good things to say. I’m sorry things didn’t work out with WW but am happy you’re healthier. 😄

You always seemed like you were misrepresented a bit on WL. I guess they built the character of you in a certain way and showed certain parts around it. idk it is what it is. You seem like a genuinely nice guy who does care about what you do. Good luck in the future! And dust can be nasty stuff. Glad to see youre better now.
I'm not a table top gamer but love what they do over there at WW and they seem like a ton of fun to hang around with.

Thanks! It was definitely a lot of fun at times. They also leaned into how I get animated and riled up-- I was cool with the clips... but maybe a little surprised at how vitriolic some of the comments were. But in retrospect, it makes sense. Unfamiliar guy who is bringing in some new frenetic energy.

Clear explanation, never considered how much dust must be everywhere at Wyrmwood. Their brightly colored office walls appear so distanced from the production floor.
I still don’t understand why the brand was a Goose, but you did create an excellent Wyrmlyfe personality for them.

I needed to grab footage from a couple episodes and I realized one of them had 1000+ comments! 🙃🥰 I cut Bobby off with my "you're not clever" but I'm pretty sure he was about to say something like 'this is marketing gold' 🤣

So glad to hear you're okay. Was binging Wyrmlyfe and then was wondering what actually happened to you cause I'm a nosey little goose shit.
Allergies aren't fun, especially when it's an "uncommon" one since the solutions are nearly nonexistent. I feel you on this one.

Hey, thanks for your concern! Yeah, it was bad. You can kind of see I look a little... idk... inflamed? bloated? in the videos.
I do find it kind of fun/funny that I got so much heat on the show-- and then when I left a lot of people were like 'aww... it was more fun when he was around 🤣'

@@MikeSaltzman the inflammation is definitely visible when compared to this video + your vocal quality is different since it isn't struggling to get out as much too.
I really don't get people who post hate comments. These are the same people who probably really enjoyed watching the antics cause they got to see the ones they like "win" or whatever. It's much harder to a) remember the positive and b) have people willing to point out when someone added good.
In case it makes you laugh, I sometimes tell my friends that something is "indubitable savings" if someone says something is frugal.
