    Finally! I did not see any Warp 4060 boards in the testing. Does that mean its in the works ?

      Warp4060 hardware design is started but We were lately focused to make 560 and 1260 models ready for release. In general Warp4060 will be made, but is still on quite early stage.. Sorry for that, I wish to have more time for this project.

      @@sellen052 Can RAM limit on Warp4060 be break? More than 128 FAST RAM?

    • @sellen052
      @sellen052  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheMrKocour Warp560 and 1260 have 256MB of RAM, but currently 128 is for RTG graphics. This will change soon, when bootrom will be ready and 16MB will be for RTG and 240MB for AmigaOS. Warp4060 is on design stage so it's plausible that will have more RAM, but I wonder if it is really necessary for the Amiga software?

    Looks amazing. Is that regarding both - a1260 and 560 models? I'm more interested of 560 - and possibility of using in a2000. I just expressed interest of buying vampire but due to the unpredictable availability of vamp I would buy this instead of vampire. Do you know the term you will be ready to drop those to clients ?

    • @sellen052
      @sellen052  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes, both 560 and 1260 models are ready. We plan to send first units for tests and reviews, so potential customers would get some objective info from someone not related to the project ;) In the mean time we'll prepare first batch for customers. So I think that we'll start shipment in about 4 weeks. First batch is quite small, because we won't to take big risk if anything bad reveals when other people will start playing with this hardware for the first time. If everything will be fine then we'll make bigger order for PCB's and other components to start production more seriously.

      @@sellen052 This is a very wise approach. About two months ago I took part in testing the card, which hit the market in near future. It is a time-consuming task that requires you to repeat tests in various software and hardware variants (especially peripherals - more is better) - but it gives a lot of satisfaction. My A600, although originally from Commodore's hand, turned out to be a unique copy that caused problems (mainly using pcmcia and CPU cache problems). Finally, after a few firmware versions, the designer has improved them so that the card works flawlessly and there will be (probably) no complaints from the market. Now prototype works even faster than in the initial versions of the firmware :-) I was also testing one of first Vampire 1200 for three weeks - great card but decided to give it to other hands and wait patiently for Warp. I can't describe how I'm excited now :-)

    ile taki quake lub doom klatek wyciąga , 15-20 ???

    • @sellen052
      @sellen052  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Doom jest mniej wymagający i chodzi ~35FPS, Quake ~18FPS. Z Quake mam zamiar się pobawić za jakiś czas w optymalizację i wykorzystanie potencjału karty Warp, nie wiem ile zyskam, ale myślę, że ~30FPS powinno dać radę :) Ale na razie czekają ważniejsze rzeczy.
