This Fendt 820 Tractor Has A Water Leak

- Got to work on one of my all time favourite tractors this week. Had a water leak that needed fixing. The Fendt 820 is a great farm tractor and since it's a German tractor it is great quality and designed really well.
The perfect tractor in my opinion, definitely a modern classic.

Nothing even comes close to the engineering in those Fendts, even the new ones. You only really appreciate just how good they are when you work on them a bit. Even inside the transmission all the pipes beautifuly routed and little metal part number tags riveted on. Speaks volumes when you drive one with 10,000 hours on and it drives like the day it came off the line. Built to last a life time, be rebuilt and do it all again
Couldn’t agree more , one of my mates serviced a 716 that’s done 21 thousand hours

the position is quite narrow to remove the waterpump, hopefully after being repaired the tractor will return to health
hi mark i have a 818 and the bottom ends gone do you know how to get the sump off with the engine in suite
Good video and commentary. Wish it was longer. German cars used to be well engineered. Not anymore………. I repair a ton of them…..
