All of them. so even the crash with the katusha riders involved? Then that really is a very hard thing to understand... I wonder what countries the juries in this race are from... and what there reasoning has been to come to this decision.
@Johny Bravo I don't think too many people come to watch these clips to hear all kind of stupid political comments. I also don't see the connection between the political statements you make and the decision of the jury here... What I do see, though, is that you use one example of something you don't like to start talking about the whole political situation in a certain stage. And that... isn't just a Californian thing, as that seems to be some kind of weird American tradition. The United States of America... the pinnacle of unnecessary talking about politics...
@Johny Bravo, what the fuck does feminism and political correctness, progressiveness have to do with it? If it is anything, it is American favouritism. I don't know much about the level of political correctness in California, but the state has destroyed much of its natural resources and continues to do so, while also having a high level of poverty and inequality, not exactly what anyone would call "progressive".
@Johny Bravo We also hate smokers and pendejos that make a political statement from everything. Keep in focus. Have a taco or two and stay away from the crack pipe.
Yea... these commentators have no clue when it comes to cycling... really weird that they can't get some people with a little bit of knowledge for a race on this level.
@@connorgibney7653 They don't need to know "everything about every single rider", but they do need to have some knowledge about the world's best-known riders. And Jacobsen is a sprinter who has already won some world tour races in the past, so they should at least be capable of knowing what his nationality is. And even if they don't... just look it up, don't start saying things that are blatantly untrue.
Unusual jury and editing decisions aside - check out the guy with the iPad, visible from 3:00 onwards. Tejay van Garderen, the race leader, almost crashes into him because he misses the turn, and this guy still refuses to put down his iPad and watch the actual race. Imagine having so little comprehension of a sport he's decided to stand by the roadside for.
Jesus. just let him enjoy the way he wants to instead of being butthurt on the internet. maybe he's just getting into the sport and wanted some race footage of his own you'll never know.
What a joke to nutralize the race when the crash happened outside the final 3km, still plenty of riders back in peloton. Should Van Garderen eventually win the race even he might deserve it then many people would not see him as a real winner but remember the favor the race directors have him today. Accidents are part of all races and it might sometime results in the strongest guys not winning which I finds more interesting. Rules should always be rules thing like this decision downgrades the whole value of Tour of california.
If they are "applying the rule" (the law), maybe it`s time to review it and change it if necessary. The win needs to be clear and free of any controversy that may muddy it. I agree that a win now by Van Garderen should have an asterisk (*). Crashes will always be part of the game. Whether you fell of your own or ran into the pile, perhaps needs clarification. At the end, all riders are on the same road, same weather , same pot holes.
Van Garderen was behind the peleton when the crash occured, so he shouldn't get the same time. On top the peleton was outside of the 3km mark. The jury should reverse their decision for sure. Maybe fair enough that the guys in the peleton get the same time, but if you aren't in that group, you shouldn't get the same time.
@3:30 (or thereabouts), why Tejay got the jersey back. As Bob Roll says 'just as he was getting back (on)". the 'Moscon' pile up delays him. Unusual decision but not totally without some justification.
The rules are not to be bend. Wonder if the jury had made the same decision if it was a non American rider who was wearing the leaders jersey?? He had a solo crash, made a wrong turn and was still behind the peloton when the big crash happened outside the 3 km mark. How can that be justified??
@@MrPete8118 I did say 'unusual but not totally without justification', not 'the jury were 100% correct'. But that said, 'rules are not to be bend (bent), come on! They are bent all the time!! OMG these highlights are AWFUL. Can't you give us a quick overview on map to point out start and finish? Some audio of the actual race finish would be nice, too. Europe does everything better. 2 thumbs down.
Having TJ (and Timo as well) in My cycling fantasy team arriving After 55 seconds got me headache, then I read Lefevre's comment today. Happy to have him in Yellow again, but this Is a very weird decision. though tj did not look very fit at the end, so I think today he Will lose It and all the talking Will be gone, because Lefevre's Asgreen Is not going to take It either!

@Robert Trageser Explain brown spots? I am not familiar with the term.
What a beautiful place for cycling. This should become a grand tour with several mountain stages.
Oops. Video editor cut off before the overall standings were displayed and in the middle of the sentence.....

Fabio Jakobsen is not a Belgium racer as commenter says. He is Dutch.
Same thing brother, Just like Americans and Mexicans
