I only discovered Teddy a couple of years ago. You don't expect that soulful voice coming out of him. He does a great cover of this Bonnie Raitt song. Also like his version of Shania Twain's song "You're Still The One". He does a lot of covers but also has original music.
I just discovered Teddy a couple of weeks ago, he just released a new album and I'm telling you every song is a amazing, such as Loose Control, the Door, he is my new favorite artist, he looks completely different, not sure how long ago that he performed this , but his version is definitely moving
Bonnie Raitt made the song famous but it was originally written and sung by songwriter and former professional football defensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals, Mike Reid. What a career change! I love this so much. It always reminds me of my daughters boyfriend who was just over-the-moon in love with her and she tried so hard to return the feelings but they just weren't there. He has everything (outwardly) - status, power, money...everything she could ever want but she just-didn't-feel it. You can't force your feelings. They just are what they are. 😢 Heartbreaking.

I love Bonnie's version, but the original song was written and recorded by Mike Reid. Bonnie made it famous, though, without a doubt.
It’s the best version ever. I like George Michael’s version but this is better.
