I haven't ridden at a bike part yet (and I'd be very hard pressed to find one in my area unfortunately), but I'd love to when I have a bike that's capable for it.
Love bike parks. Off to Windhill tomorrow and taking some friends who are just getting into MTB too. It’s great! You know the jumps and other features are well built so they are also a great place to practice skills. Shred it!! Super excited about our ride tomorrow......even at 45 years old 🤟
Bikeparks are pretty rare in Germany. So riding one is a typical holiday thing for me. I love that you can progress there because the jumps a built by pros and you can be pretty sure that they will not send you into a tree.
Blake teaching new riders about park riding as he walks down the middle of the DH trail and stops in the middle of the trail on the lip of a jump to tell people to walk features..... *palm-face* Loved you Blake!
I will venture to one this year. I'm the wrong side of 40 and although I used to be pretty handy on a bike, I'm back to L plates and wouldn't want to be teetering round holding people up. I'll make sure I find a "quiet time" to make an idiot of myself lol. Great content as always you beautiful people at GMBN
I know I’m a little late but I still just wanted to say don’t worry about it I can’t speak for everyone but I’m always happy to see new riders or older riders that are getting back on the bike this hobby need to get more mainstream for it to get bigger and new riders are the reason it’s still alive!
How about you guys doing some in-depth reviews of individual bike parks. Trails/features/challenges, things to look out for etc. etc. Make a great series, probably stuck with UK ones for now with the pandemic.
My first day biking today at a Bike Park and ended up following a friend down a red route, took a corner too fast and realised there was a feature straight after it! i went straight off the edge and rolled about 6 times before stopping, had great fun before that and i should of watched this video first as i'm now in bed with pains everywhere lol
i think at my level ( only ever ridden a few local red trails) it would be very intimidating! especially seeing everyone on there mega squish bikes and all the kit, i would be rolling up with an entry level hardtail and no gear lol
Me after watching MTB videos for 2 years and finally going in a Bike Park with my Hardtail after watching how you don't really need a Fully Me: I am the only one not on a Fully and I think I need one to SURVIVE!
I'm going to spider mountain in Texas. I have an orbea hardtail 29er that I love. Should I lower the seat and just take it to ride there, or spend the money and rent a longer travel full suspension rig to enjoy the park more?
Please add „while looking before leaping, don’t stand on the takeoff/landing and watch out for riders”! Witnessed way too many crashes on the last few weekends because of people walking and standing on the trail. Otherwise, great video and stay healthy!
Yeah it can get dangerous luckily it never happened to me but I do often go to a trail near a park that’s located on top of a hill and sadly a lot of people walk on those trails like I have atleast seen 20+ on those trails and because I’m rather young they don’t listen to me at all when I’m telling them how dangerous it could be
Love the bike design th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L and functionality. It is hard to align the front tired to center the disk brakes. The brake wheel touches the stationery side of the brake caliper and pad. I aired the tire up to 40 psi as the markings say 40-60psi. Left the house for a few hours and came back to an exploded innertube. All in all it seems to be a good bike. Have not ridden it yet though so that's the max of my knowledge. Update, put a new innertube made sure the tire was set properly and it did the same thing in under 20 minutes as second pic shows.
Why do riders twist the handle bars and push their bikes over on to their side, does it serve a purpose or is it just being flash, I’m just learning but GMBN presenters do it in just about every video I’ve watched on riding
Shout out to one of the most beautiful bike park I've ever seen: www.dolomitipaganellabike.com/en/ . Looking forward for a mountain bike vacation this here, this is definitely in the list of places I need to visit (multiple times if possible). That and the Val di Fassa EWS trails near Canazei. If the pandemic agrees that is...
What do you think about bike parks? Do you ride one? Let us know 👇

I have a question; what type of rear shock do you like
Two sessions at Twisted Oaks this weekend - all hail Bank Holiday weekends! You guys should visit sometime!

One of the rules in most bike-parks: if you're not on your bike, get the hell off the trail! Dangerous af!

Yes absolutely agree I would love to see how they would stack up against each other through blake's eyes!

Thats what i ride. Who cares. And you could just start out on blues and see how it goes. Everyone takes a slow lap at first on a new trail anyways
Me too, old Gt hardtail and a helmet, 53 soon so green trails and stabilisers I think.
Walk to the side of the trail? Yes.
Here's a tip Blake get up to chickie & have shredd & catch up m8,loving the content & channel's,keep up the good work
Graeme Mills👌👍👍

Me: I am the only one not on a Fully and I think I need one to SURVIVE!
Flow Trails and Jumplines are better suited for Hardtails
Just avoid the black/DH lines and you will be fine!
Yes! I'm with you my friend! Hardtails are awesome!
@@florianw.560 Yes, especially if you're a beginner like me :p
you guys should ride the jump track at aspley (woburn sands) its a great park
I wished I could be like Blake.
Yeah
Hi, can you make a video or review or feedback about hope race e4 brakeset
Great vid as usual Blake, but what has happened to all the colour coded parts on your bike.
I'm going to spider mountain in Texas. I have an orbea hardtail 29er that I love. Should I lower the seat and just take it to ride there, or spend the money and rent a longer travel full suspension rig to enjoy the park more?
Hi guys, do happen to have plan in riding out around the midlands soon? Hoping to meet you or join you soon mates. Cheers!
Is Blake on a reactor there?
Get there early to get a full day in, but get there after lunch because it's busy mid-morning 🤔 plenty of good info here though
Any other hardtail park riders here???
"ROGATE" is in polish and it means "horned" ;)
My frame size is 12x157. But I bought 12x150. Can I simply use adapter for it?
Maybe 3.5mm adapter each side?
Up
Are e mountain bikes allowed?
It would take me 3 1/2 hrs to there but it sure would be worth it......... one day🙂

I really want to play on bike park, but there's no bike park in my place.
White Sox hey at least u a kick ads rider😂
The only problem is, the nearest Bikepark is 4 hours away :(
Me too..
There should be a national requirement in america for there to be a bike park for every 100 square miles, in my dreams
Yeah mine is over 3 hours...

It’s basically to look cool

We don't have bikeparks 😪
Why are some GMBN people riding without gloves. Is that common?
Cause they’re pros lmao

Make sure you don't skid on the trails
:Skids into a burm 😂
To the guy who said he's on the wrong side of 40 age is just a # practice and let it do what it do
I'd be embarrassed by my bike and lack of any actual MTB gear. Thats my fear of bike parks.
