Mr. Loo. If I invest 100k with an investment company and wait 20 years! What happens if the investment company closes down? or because of an inactive account, they might kick me out! Then what happened to my shares? Do we need to open a US trading account for the S&P 500? Or are they just in-house trading!? I have been kicked out by one of the trading companies before for inactive trade for years, but lucky shares are in the SGX account. Please advise which trading company we should look for investing in the S&P 500 ?

because NASDAQ is very volatile and requires higher risk appetite, compared to S&P
