京都1周トレイルを歩いてみました~No.3-1. 北山東部コース：ケーブル比叡〜延暦寺〜回峰行道〜玉体杉〜横高山〜水井山〜大原(戸寺): Trekking in Kyoto5/10

日本の古都、京都。その周りの山々を縦走する「京都1周トレイル」。合計83.6kmのコースを挑戦していきます。
今回は、前回から引き続き、北山東部コースのケーブル比叡から延暦寺を経由し戸寺(大原)までを歩いてみました。
始点はケーブル比叡駅。ケーブルカーにて八瀬から比叡山を登ります。比叡山のスキー場跡を通過し、比叡山延暦寺を通過。荘厳な雰囲気の中、足を進めます。その後は延暦寺の千日回峰修行で回峰行道を北上し、玉体杉、横高山、水井山(京都トレイル全体での標高最高地点)、仰木峠を通過します。
最後はボーイスカウト道を通過して下山し、大原にある戸寺町がゴール。
約3時間の楽しい小旅行、いつもの京都とは違う自然と歴史を感じることができました。
Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan, and the “Kyoto Trail”, a trail course runs through the mountains surrounding Kyoto City. I will try to complete this 83.6 km course.
Continuing from the previous video, this time I walked the Kitayama-Eastern course from Rope Hiei station to Todera-cho (Ohara) via Enryakuji temple, the world heritage.
First, I went to the start point, Cable Hiei station by taking the cable car from Yase station. I then pass through the ruins of the ski slope and Enryakuji temple in a solemn atmosphere.
After that, I went north on Minemichi footpath, where Enryakuji temple monks used this route for their training(1000 days Minemichi training).
Next, I passed through the Gyokutai-sugi, the summit of Mt.Yokotaka-yama, Mt. Mizui-yama (the highest point on the entire Kyoto Trail), and the Ohgi-touge Pass.
Finally, the trail descends down the mountain passing the Boy Scout trail and finished at Todera-cho in Ohara.
This enjoyable 3-hour excursion allowed me to experience nature and history different from the usual Kyoto.

2日間で伏見御池から戸寺までトレイルしました。動画とても参考になりました。ありがとうございます。後半も参考にさせて頂き楽しい京都トレイルを完走します。

この動画を見て、昨日、このルートを歩きました。結構な急登・急坂の連続で、回峰行の行者様たちのすごさを改めて思い知った次第です。でも比叡山の豊かな歴史を垣間見ることが出来て楽しい山行でした。丁寧な動画をありがとうございます！
