Hello! Did you change the settings for yourself with this mod (ped damage overhaul), or did you stop at the standard version without changes? I want to install this mod, but I read the comments on the nexus, many people say that it takes 8 shots from a revolver for NPC to die. I also wanted to clarify if this mod fixes hip firing by making the bullet less deflected or is it still standard?
This is more or less true that it takes 8 shots to kill unless you use special ammo, but you can tweak the mod options (which explains what everything does in the .ini file, it isn't hard to do if you look at it) to your liking. I don't think ped damage overhaul changes hipfire accuracy though but I could be wrong
@@Argaslol Yes I got it. The accuracy of the weapon from the hip is adjusted by the trainer or the individual weapon. I never fully understood that the developer broke this mod with the last update, or so it was. I just added a weapon multiplier to the ini file without changing the health of the NPC and now everyone falls to the ground after two shots of the revolver, as I wanted.
GTA6 better use Euphoria ragdolls. There just isnt any better ragdoll simulation out there that can match what RDR2 brought up after years of updates to it in previous titles like max Payne, gta4 and so on. One of the soul reasons i keep always coming back to this gem of a game.
I find I draw faster when I hold right click without targeting onto anything and whilst still holding press the *aim weapon* button which you can see in the bottom right when you hold right click and then just click aim weapon (left click) and then click it again without holding right click
The death animations in this game are sooooo good!! RDR2 all time fav! Good shootin!

Pull out your weapon (TAB), and immediately press left click (your shoot button)

If you're talking about the slow-mo animation you have to hold LMB while the gun is holstered and then the *DRAW* icon will appear

You can’t get it in story mode sadly but I think you can get a similar blanket/poncho in rdr2 online
