Martin have you ever used 303 on your cockpit seats or anything else? I have used 303 UV on my boats for the last couple decades with what I believe amazing results. Yes I apply it probably twice a month or at minimum monthly but when I sold one boat after 12 years the seats and dark blue hull looked like it came off the showroom floor when new. I use it on a couple Hobies, and a 1965 glass Correct Craft now still with what I think amazing results. Unless someone here tells me this is really dumb and not good for gelcoat I plan to use it on our Ranger 29cb new to us we are purchasing, but currently the blue hull is in pretty rough shape. Once it get it buffed and polished back to new I will not let it get bad like previous owner. I figure I am retired, what else am I going to do but clean and polish the boats. Ceramic does look interesting however but I am thinking I would still have to add an additional UV inhibitor like 303 on these Ranger blue hulls. I wish white or gray was the standard color instead of a dark color like blue.

White is not a color that is offered. However, you'll see one in the next week on an upcoming video here. (A white RT27-OB). I do I wish they offered more lighter colors. Light Gray and Caribbean Sand are the two light colors. I've not used 303 protected on our seats as we usually have them folded up in the cockpit with their sunbrella covers over them. The ceramic coating used at Premier Custom Ceramic Coating has UV protection in it. In one of our previous videos we go over Avallana, a red RT29, which had no oxidation after 4.5 years of being ceramic coated.

Just an FYI, auto dealership ceramic coatings are more times than not, just a spray on and not a professionally installed coating. If you want it, see if they will pay your detailer to install a proper coating to your car.

I paid $3,000 for the dealer to ceramic coat a Chrysler 300.
      I was scammed. :(
I did have Premier Custom Ceramic Coating ceramic coat my Challenger. It looks awesome!!

Hey Martin - Mark out here in NC. I too had my C-288 (Dark Grey) ceramic coating with 4 layers of application from Ceramic Pro Marine in the Charlotte area. All I can say is wow! 4 years prior I had my black GMC crew cab coated by the same product. Which encouraged me to do the boat too.. I purposely left the boat untouched for a season and just wiped her down in late February 2024. She shined up just like it came from the showroom. Took about 2 hours to do above the rub rail. I’m about to put her on the hard and do the haul in a few days. Always great to see your videos. No more paying a detail service once or twice a year. Those dollars add up quickly!

Oh, one more thing. There is a ceramic application that was also done on the interior (yes every surface; carpets, glass, metal, the works). There is also another product for the head. Everything just wipes up with a warm soapy cloth.
