@@tankturretshots I usually go for Dash Upgrades and Universal Upgrades for upgrading attacks with attack+skill/sheathe timing. The timings are a little tricky at first, but they make a big difference. His block also gets insanely strong when upgraded, but you'll need a lot of MP to use it properly. His Up + Attack with the Universal Upgrades to freeze enemies is also extremely good for keeping enemies locked down.
