It seems like that was inserted just to prevent the pearl-clutchers from saying that Disney was setting a bad example of underage drinking.
In the Ballad it mentions something about how fallen friends will still be with you to help on the road. In the comics, the ghost of Agatha helped Wanda down the road on her own journey.
I agree that Sharon's hallucination was a reference to the first episode of "WandaVision," when Mr. hart was choking on the chocolate covered strawberry; I think it was meant to be a traumatic memory or fear, like Jen's drowning or Alice's encounters woth her mother. And I really hope Sharon isn't dead, because she bringa such an essential note ofnnaive comedy into the group.
They did not add Sharon's hair to the potion and Sharon did not join hands during the "intention" with the other members, which is probably why she died.
I’ve been waiting for this episode reaction all week. 😄🙌🏾 One of my theories is that Agatha hasn’t walked the road at all. She wouldn’t try to cheat or escape if she truly walked it (she would know what would happen).
That episode was interesting yet intense!!! I really loved how Agatha reminded Jen that her knowledge was her true power in this moment!! Loosing Sharon was a bittersweet moment; despite her lack of knowledge and magic, she still knew how to party with wine and dry humor. Not that I’m opposed to idea of Teen being Nicholas, I’m still convinced that he’s really Billy Kaplan/Wiccan. However if Agatha had to give up Nicholas to obtain the Darkhold, I theoretically believe that he was raised and trained by Mephisto, who could’ve also placed the sigil on Teen. Maybe after discovering his mother’s betrayal, Nicholas created the Salem Seven to hunt her down and make her suffer to get his revenge on her. I can’t wait for the next episode and hopefully for Aubrey to join us down the road!!! 🔯✨🧪😈😨🥺🖤💜

She was so funny and so cute! I loved her so much me too. I really hope that they will have a twist for her!😀 And yes, exactly, Panos is right, when Sharon/Miss Hart said "Wanda! Wanda! Let him breath!" It was in WandaVisionn in the black and white episode during the dinner's scene when Miss Hart's husband was shocking, Wanda realized it and said" Vision help him!" and Vision did it." It was the Sharon/Miss Hart's hallucination here. It was an interesting episode, we saw a little more of each Witches's sad past. Agatha's hallucinaton confirmed that yes she sacrificed her son Nicholas Scratch in order to have powers and the Darkhold so...Will see if teen is Wiccan/Billy Maximoff or Nicholas Scratch...I'm pretty sure that he is Wiccan/Billy Maximoff, the fact that Jennifer talked to him about what Agatha did to her son, said a demon and she mentionned Mephisto can make us think that teen can be Nicholas Scratch and so one of his Mephisto's agents but...hummmm...I think that this is to confused us 😀 But that's for SURE, teen is Wiccan/Billy Maximoff or Nicholas Scratch and he could be linked to Mephisto, I think this is Mephisto who put a spell on him in order to that no witch can know who he is, specifically Agatha Harkness. Agatha simply doesn’t care enough for other people’s needs to learn Sharon’s actual/prefferred name. So far I don’t have much hope for a redemption arc.

There is a possibility of Sharon being resurrected, but I think it's unlikely to happen in the MCU.
