My mother is a strong believer. I never really was. I've been down many roads. Much pain and suffering. We all need God in our lives to guide us through our journies. I now understand this. When I was in prison for the first time, the bible was my comfort. For me to receive the bible from my family we had to asked permission from the officers, surprisingly the 1st attempt was rejected for whatever reasons.. after I was transferred to another institution a stranger from another cell came up to me and asked if I would like a bible, I obviously said yes. When I was in prison for the first time, the bible was my comfort. For me to receive the bible from my family we had to asked permission from the officers, surprisingly the 1st attempt was rejected for whatever reasons.. after I was transferred to another institution a stranger from another cell came up to me and asked if I would like a bible, I obviously said yes. Next thing I knew the bible was placed neatly inside my cell. That was my first raw experienced with God. Sometimes the wrong choices does brings you to the right places. Praise the lord. AMEN!
