There's essentially a period of forced wait in every 10 wave so a good team wouldn't find the time difference from running 0-10 and 10-20 that different. So if the bonus drop is relatively decent it might be worth running till like 30 ish to try and get the +1 (which is effectively a 5-6 min time save) but then again it will also depend on the avg chance of just getting the bonus on wave 10.

Hard Launch and Implosion Rounds WITHOUT a blastwork MW is very good. the god roll i’m aiming for is Auto loading and Recom. Hard launch and Imposion rounds are like SUPER SUPER not necessary. Just the perk combo alone is good enough. Spike nades also work just fine.
I still have my original midnight coup in my vault. It only has 16k kills but it will never be deleted. It's the only sunset weapon I've kept because I loved it so much back then
In 300 rounds of Onslaught, I got 4 shiny weapons. All four of those were tonight, in a single 50 wave run. 2 were god rolls. I think I used up my luck for the rest of Into The Light

Get the regular god roll and just masterwork it. If you get the shiny then replace the other. Really not that deep
5:20 Hey, PvP sweat here with 120K lifetime defeats: I'd recommend smallbore for some stability and then slap on Counterbalance stock. That'll feel really good to use. Also, Recluse has 100 recoil. Use Hammer-forged.
That shiny Edge Transit with Full Court and Sticky nades is really fun for PVP. You just launch it across the map, getting more damage because of Full Court, and unsuspecting players walk right into the trap, and BOOM.
From what I understand you actually want hard launch and implosion round on The Mountaintop to drop the blast radius as low as possible. Lower blast radius means less damage is used on AOE, which the launcher already struggles with.

For some reason, when mountain top has les blast radius, it does more damage, around 12.7%. So the god roll is hard launch, implosion rounds/spike nades. I believe you can get away with quick launch and implosion rounds but not sure
It feels like instead of the weapons being randomly rolled, there are a handful of curated rolls that have varying rarity. I say this because I’ve gotten a bunch of all of the weapons and a large majority of them are the exact same roll, with only the first 2 columns being different most of the time.
bro i've gotten like 20 hammerheads with high impact reservecs and some other crap perk.... its like the one weapon i've farmed for days and have yet to get even one witgh onslaught, and only had 2 with killing tally. Its retarded. I literally switched attunements just to hope it changes my luck.
Full court gives a damage increase for airtime, but with sticky nades since it stays on the ground it gets the full damage bonus. Basically you have a strong proximity mine GL. It is a niche god roll, definitely worth keeping.
Just an fyi, lowering the blast radius on mountain top = more damage because most of its damage comes from the impact. The best combo would be hard launch + implosion rounds. Hard launch is the main thing you want. Hard+ spike is only 28 damage, yes 28 points of damage less than hard + implosion.

Small bore is the better barrel. W Midnight Also! For mountaintop I’d recommend going Implosion rounds and Hard Launch as that does the most damage over all. It does more than spiked by 23. This is because of lower BR making it to deal more damage. Edit: Mountaintop deals 158 max in PvP on an impact. It’s not really that good unless you stack up 10x on recombination to one shot. However, the perk doesn’t work in PvP right now so mountaintop is just meh for the time being.

I got a perfect shiny edge transit with add clear and boss dps perks all in one. Quick launch, spike nades, then chain reaction + destabilising for add clear, and cascade + bait n switch for boss dps. Cascade unloads crazy fast when procced.
That’s terrible boss damage lol. Cascade only worth while if you can combine with envious. If not then the boss dmg phase would have to be extremely short (like Atraks) but then you just use parasite lol. Also no one uses a heavy gl for ad clear
For me I’ve been using an autoloading/vorpal mountaintop and I love it! I could probably switch Vorpal for something else though, considering it’s not great at boss dps
My shiny Elsie's rifle has hammer forged ricochet rounds range masterwork, zen moment, underover, headseeker, kill clip. Literally all the best perks IMO for PvP
If you are using mountain top for damage, you want the blast radius to be as low as possible. I am willing to grind out solo as much as necessary, but haven't really found the time to figure out what farm is best (just play the playlist normally or do regular content since they can drop there too)?
Not quite true. Its not based on the distance traveled but rather how long the projectile has been out and “active” before exploading. With anything that blows up on impact, that translates to air time. Sticky grenades however can be set on a surface, allowing it to stay “active” long enough for it to benefit from Full Court
Due to the way damage is calculated on special GLs, having a lower blast radius stat causes direct impact hits to do more damage overall, so ideally on Mountaintop you want Hard launch, implosion rounds, and any masterwork other than blast radius. That's how you max out the baseline damage before worrying about your main damage perks. I'd still go with auto loading/recombination, but honestly the rest is up to you.
There is a way to get to ur vault when in the hall. Click on destination and on something like gambit but dont launch . Just click down or whatever u use to get to ur vault while in orbit.... ur wwlcome 😁 so far it works anywhere.. just tried in the enclave.. yes i know its a vault there.. just was seeing if its possible

Mountaintop should have hard launch and implosion rounds. Spike nades are slightly less damage now (only on mountaintop) You do not want blast radius on it, you want velocity. The other perks are whatever you like really. I like auto loading and frenzy.
I've got a shiny midnight with firefly one for all and it's great in pve, one kill procs one for all and headshots do 19k and it procs itself every time. Very Pog.
You can get them in any way you can get the weapons. Basically everytime you get a weapon that has a chance to drop as a shiny. So afaik its not a separate loot table or drop but rather is a chance every time you get a weapon.
I waited until I had ~350 tokens and once Hammerhead attunement was available I cashed them all in. I calculated ~80% drop rate for Hammerhead, and 5 total shiny weapons (2 of which were shiny Hammerhead). I also waited until that week to cash in all my Shaxx engrams. 100% Hammerheads.
So, TLDR for Mountaintop's left 2 columns: Without hard launch, Take Implosion (more dmg by a lot) With hard launch, Spike and Implosion are basically tied for dmg. (Implosion still beats spike by like 0.01% dmg)

Not sure what people easily test on dmg nowadays so I went with minibosses @ sorrow's harbor. 59,028 total for Spike + Hard Launch 59,051 total for Implosion + Hard Launch 23 dmg difference in favor of implosion. Earlier I was also told that implosion was worse by a friend who was trying them out in a raid, so if I had to guess maybe explosion dmg scales lower than impact dmg on certain bosses? Either way I'm still standing by that Implosion+HL and Spike+HL are very similar.

That mountaintop isn't perfect, but certainly decent! Autoloading + Harmony works well together. And spike grenades aren't needed. Technically having lower blast radius increases damage, but the amount is negligible.
I feel like im super lucky getting pretty much regular rolls I want but have only gotten 3 shiny weapons after playing nonstop. I feel like my luck is generally tied to what I'm not necessarily looking. I often get something great.

It doesn't have better stats. The only difference is the exclusive ornament and double perks in the third and fourth columns.

Full Court works with Sticky Grenades. The time on the ground counts as "in flight."

Full court is maxed one the longer the projectile travels. Sticky grenades on count as "travelling" when stuck on walls.

Not quite true. Its not based on the distance traveled but rather how long the projectile has been out and “active” before exploading. With anything that blows up on impact, that translates to air time. Sticky grenades however can be set on a surface, allowing it to stay “active” long enough for it to benefit from Full Court
Due to the way damage is calculated on special GLs, having a lower blast radius stat causes direct impact hits to do more damage overall, so ideally on Mountaintop you want Hard launch, implosion rounds, and any masterwork other than blast radius. That's how you max out the baseline damage before worrying about your main damage perks. I'd still go with auto loading/recombination, but honestly the rest is up to you.
There is a way to get to ur vault when in the hall. Click on destination and on something like gambit but dont launch
. Just click down or whatever u use to get to ur vault while in orbit.... ur wwlcome 😁 so far it works anywhere.. just tried in the enclave.. yes i know its a vault there.. just was seeing if its possible

Mountaintop should have hard launch and implosion rounds. Spike nades are slightly less damage now (only on mountaintop) You do not want blast radius on it, you want velocity. The other perks are whatever you like really. I like auto loading and frenzy.

Use flared magwell on that shiny recluse and use hammer forged instead of extended barrel and that thing is nice for pve.

Can you get shiny weapons from normal onslaught ?
You can get them in any way you can get the weapons.
Basically everytime you get a weapon that has a chance to drop as a shiny. So afaik its not a separate loot table or drop but rather is a chance every time you get a weapon.
I have gotten more shiny weapons from normal than legend.
I’ve gotten two shiny’s yet they only have one row of perks? Is this a glitch? Aren’t they supposed to have 2??
one row perks are the fixed roll shiny from the quest. its a guarantee drop

I waited until I had ~350 tokens and once Hammerhead attunement was available I cashed them all in. I calculated ~80% drop rate for Hammerhead, and 5 total shiny weapons (2 of which were shiny Hammerhead). I also waited until that week to cash in all my Shaxx engrams. 100% Hammerheads.

So, TLDR for Mountaintop's left 2 columns:
Without hard launch, Take Implosion (more dmg by a lot)
With hard launch, Spike and Implosion are basically tied for dmg. (Implosion still beats spike by like 0.01% dmg)

Not sure what people easily test on dmg nowadays so I went with minibosses @ sorrow's harbor.
59,028 total for Spike + Hard Launch
59,051 total for Implosion + Hard Launch
23 dmg difference in favor of implosion.
Earlier I was also told that implosion was worse by a friend who was trying them out in a raid, so if I had to guess maybe explosion dmg scales lower than impact dmg on certain bosses?
Either way I'm still standing by that Implosion+HL and Spike+HL are very similar.

That mountaintop isn't perfect, but certainly decent! Autoloading + Harmony works well together. And spike grenades aren't needed. Technically having lower blast radius increases damage, but the amount is negligible.
I feel like im super lucky getting pretty much regular rolls I want but have only gotten 3 shiny weapons after playing nonstop. I feel like my luck is generally tied to what I'm not necessarily looking. I often get something great.
