When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 Dimash has worked hard for 3 years on this MV, and it turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE, for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts in trying to bring the world together in love, peace and unity. He is a Legend and will go down in History. This is my interpretation only: The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, the necklace was made and shared by the young Dimash with his friends symbolising lifelong friendship and unity. Here is a breakdown of the story, as I see it: 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony. Yes definitely watch it again. The necklace was a token of friendship to the boy who saved him from drowning. The girl, both boys loved her but she chose the boy who almost drowned who grew to become Dimash's character. They married, had a daughter & were expecting another child. The boy who saved him grew to become the Dictator. We saw Dimash go to his home to check on his family (remember in Eastern countries the family all live together) & he found them all dead including his daughter. He assumed his wife was dead too as he couldn't find her and he went to stop the Dictator (his old friend) and sacrificed himself in doing so - he dropped his gun and was killed. His wife was giving birth and died whilst doing so which is why the necklace was put on the baby, his son. At the end Dimash was the grown son who became a leader for all nations/religions in the quest to stop wars. I don't know if you noticed but the people walking through the mountains were all different religions/nations. It has to be watched a few times to get it. Dimash wrote the story, composed the music & did the screenplay & it has taken 3 years to complete. I believe that the video depicts the struggle between good and evil which is taking place on many levels. Political, military and spiritual Dimensions are shown. Also the struggle transcends death and continues after death. Just my opinion.

My understanding of this video: Requiem: a Mass for the repose of the souls of the dead. The drowning boy is the soldier. The older boy is the general/leader. Hi! The three friends in the beginning become the grownup versions during wartime. In the beginning, one friend saves the other from drowning. As a symbol of their friendship, the saved youngster makes necklaces for all three of them. Both boys like the girl, but she chooses the "drowning boy" over the "hero" that saved him. The one who saved him was pissed and didn't properly accept the necklace, but rather crumpled it in his closed hand. Fast forward a few years; the three friends are grown up. The "hero" is now the warmongering general; the "drowning boy" is Dimash as a soldier, and the young girl is the pregnant woman, who also has a little girl (around 5 or 6 years old). This is Dimash's wife and daughter. The soldiers kill the daughter and Dimash discovers her body at the same time his wife is giving birth to their second child, who is a boy, who grows up to lead people away from darkness and death, into light. Part 1: That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen.
This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.

Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow pointer of a sundial, which was also used as a maritime compass before antiquity.
One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one.
The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle.
By becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war:

The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge.
However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace.
A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.

Yes definitely watch it again. The necklace was a token of friendship to the boy who saved him from drowning. The girl, both boys loved her but she chose the boy who almost drowned who grew to become Dimash's character. They married, had a daughter & were expecting another child. The boy who saved him grew to become the Dictator. We saw Dimash go to his home to check on his family (remember in Eastern countries the family all live together) & he found them all dead including his daughter. He assumed his wife was dead too as he couldn't find her and he went to stop the Dictator (his old friend) and sacrificed himself in doing so - he dropped his gun and was killed. His wife was giving birth and died whilst doing so which is why the necklace was put on the baby, his son. At the end Dimash was the grown son who became a leader for all nations/religions in the quest to stop wars. I don't know if you noticed but the people walking through the mountains were all different religions/nations. It has to be watched a few times to get it. Dimash wrote the story, composed the music & did the screenplay & it has taken 3 years to complete. Since childhood Dimash has always questioned why wars happen & is fiercely anti-war & anti-prejudice of any kind & this is his shout out to us all about the things that are happening in the world. I think it should be hailed as a masterpiece & everyone should watch it. You were both engrossed in the video & I understand that after just 2 viewing it's a lot to take in.
