    It’s an electric penny board? Sounds useful in circumstances that might demand a smaller cruiser to get around short distances. It’s not much, but some of us aren’t really looking for that 30+MPH longboard sized e-skate. I just want a dinky board that I can ride both to work (1.5mi away) and take to the park (just 1mi away). Plus, I can ollie over curbs with it and 12mph is perfect for when I’m tired after a shift and don’t want to put in a ton of leg work just to get home.

      @@MaskedProduc3r yeah I got a Raldey k2 board that was under 300$ that was 1000 watts goes 25 mph and 12 miles on a charge. That's honestly the best I could find under 300$ even has a remote with LCD screen and flashlight.

    I ate pavement on mine a couple weeks ago. It just cut off while I was going 15mph on a path and I ate the pavement. Feels like both my hands and my neck are broken. Prayers appreciated.

    I have the vivi 170$ electric skateboard from Amazon and I have no problems going up pretty decent sized 4 ft slopes at at least 10 mph but then again i only weigh like 115 to 120 pounds and im 26 years old and I have a lot of fun on my beginner board

    I’m able to ride over decent sized rocks twigs and at least 4 or 5 inch tall bumps in the road and cracks but then again I’m a smaller rider and somewhat experienced in riding skateboards and penny board cruisers

    Although this electric skateboard is cheap, it is definitely not worth it. If you can spare an extra $100 you can get so much better specs. I built an electric skateboard that goes over 25 mph, has 10 miles of range, and goes up the massive hills where I live (basically double all the specs) for only $300.
    Like you said, the only good aspect of this board is that it's portable, which beats my DIY because it's super hard to carry.

    • @DIYesk8Builders
      @DIYesk8Builders  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The problem is the battery packs that these manufacturers use have no balancing circuitry. So every time you charge and discharge the battery, the individual cells become more and more unbalanced. This not only destroys the battery within a number of months, but it creates the risk of fire. It's a terrible practice, but the manufacturers from a certain country don't care very much about safety.
