- I have designed these videos for those completely new to BSL or for those wishing to refresh their skills. The subtitles will help you see the English before I sign it in BSL. They will take you right back to basics and as each week goes on you will progress in your signing. I will be releasing a video every friday. In BSL, should we do the signs in a mirrored way to the ones you do or does it not matter?
Isabela Valente Silva That’s a good question. As a basic rule you use your dominant hand to lead. I am right handed, so you would
mirror me if you are left handed. If not you would use the other hand.

How can I get it with subtitles
Richie Gee Hi Richie. At the top right of the video there should be three vertical dots. Click on that and it will give you the options of subtitles or captions.
Where are subtitles
frankie powell you either click on CC icon or you may have 3 vertical dots at the top of your screen. Click that and you will have the option to click on captions

Where are the subtitles then
the CCs can be turned on, it's a switchable feature. it depends on what you are watching youtube on (mobile, laptop, etc.) so if you can't figure it out it might be worth googling to find out - e.g. 'how to turn on closed captions on iOS app youtube'
