First comment on your channel but I've watched a few of your videos and appreciate the honest delivery and work put into your channel. I'm an A rated driver with a small channel myself and I respect the work youtubers such as yourself, supergt, rory, mani, deano and so many others put into the game. I love gt7 and for the most part the online racing is fun and competitive. Keep up the great work delboy!

It's completely out of hand. I was a BS rating end of last week. I've been put off and run up the back of every race at Monza. Down to a CC rating. Bad drivers are making the game I love unplayable.
I'm with you same for me been down to D just below BS again but cant be arsed so stick to lobbies
Well fought race my brotha, moving up the order is what we all look for on the track.
This is why with many racing games, racing in community leagues is so much better than public online races. Public lobbies seem to attract so many racers who have very little in the way of race crat, race etiquette or spacial awareness. In some cases its just racers being downright dirty.

Three races in a row I get knocked off the track. The first two from the first turn. On this third race, the guy bumps me and takes the opportunity to try to overtake me. So yes, it's not a proportionate reaction, but after three races where I get knocked out, well it happens to break down, I'm a huamin, not a robot.
I have hours and hours of racing where I am as respectful of others as possible, my community can attest to that, but sometimes, when the lobbies are too dirty and I get kicked out several times, well I give change and I am leaving. Obviously, for your part, you didn't see the other three races, where some dirty guys took me off the track and in the end, it's me you call dirty...
Judging others on an action, without context, isn't great, but hey, so be it...
Why take the last 3 races out on the 4th. Justifying ramming because others do it is very childish and gets you nowhere.

In short, it's always nice to be called dirty when you're just reacting to other dirty people.

And as I said, I have hours and hours of races where I am as clean as possible, if I make a mistake, I wait for the person who made my mistake, if I bump someone, I don't take the opportunity to overtake him, etc, etc... I repeat, I have hours and hours of races where I am clean, so be judged on an action, among hours and hours of play clean, it's just dishonest
And no, I don't justify ramming because others do it, the guy I knocked off the track during my angry attack bumped me first and is trying to take advantage of it. It's not like I took him out when he didn't do anything. If for you, pushing someone and taking the opportunity to overtake is an acceptable action, it is not for me.
@@stefounzydude the guy you rammed off the track got bumped into you by the guy behind him. You need to take responsibility and control your temper.
My fellow South African Eppie is a bit clumsy from when I raced him, I was there in Stef's stream when this happened and every race he had a citroen hit him in some way to gain a position. His reaction is the result of GT7's lack of a better system to detect delicate situations like these. It's clear that Eppie wasn't going to slow down and let Stef back through.
To be fair to Stefounzy I've generally found them to be a clean racer - either there was previous with the South African, or they felt that they had been pushed out of the way and were triggered a bit - sometimes people just push your button wriong and off you go...
(the South African kind of did drive through them tbh, even though they were initially pushed from behind, they could have eased off to make no gain from it - instead they floored it and doubled down! )

Unfortunately, you can be the most respectful, all it takes is one deviation to be judged and called dirty and what's more is highlighted on a TH-cam channel, and for my part, I think it's not fair play to judge someone and highlight them in a video like this, with a very catchy title...
@@stefounzy no worries, we definitely do need to be mindful of judging people based on a single incident. Especially on public forums.
I know I can be pushed and triggered occasionally - we're only human, after all.

Driving in the B class is brutal, exactly the same last night, on this track and Monza. I had to bow out as my DR and SR got battered 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️some ppl just don’t like getting passed.

I know the driver in question well, and his gesture surprised me, but taking into account his explanations, it becomes understandable.

I feel I have to speak up for Stefounzy here. We've raced countless times, they are a clean racer. Honestly, if every driver was like Stefounzy, dirty driving would not be an issue.
I see he has posted a response where he gives context and acknowledges his action, concluding with "resist the demon of revenge". I think most of us have gotten to that snapping point after being subjected to repeated dirty driving. I have, and I'm not proud of it, no matter how 'deserved' I felt my retaliation to be at the time.
I'm getting to the point of quitting this game. Between the rammers, the pushers, the spoilt brats, and the awful penalty system. My blood boils. This time last week, my DR was A, and my SR was S. Thanks to Monza, I'm now DR C and SR D.

Yep, your only hope is to Qualify in Pol, and lead the whole race with no mistakes.
I just refuse to qualify now, I generally end up 3rd to 10th starting grid, and on turns 1 and 2 you get piffed and rammed. So I just start in last place and grind DR.

I was in your spot a few months ago. This is actually a good thing, the algorithm places you with higher rates drivers because your skill warrants it. Keep at it and eventually you get a track combo that will see you gain DR into the A level. My track was Suzuka and it was a specific race that Rory joined in the US and I took p3 and Rory was p4. Hopefully your race to bump you to A is just as memorable.

I've had GT7 and PSVR 2 since launch but only just recently started to race online. I'm nowhere near your level I'm stuck down in D with a S rating for safety and have to say in my first about 20 races I've not seen anything as bad as that revenge take out. I do upload my races to youtube and I think that helps me to keep my cool but honestly I have been very surprised with the level of racing I have encountered so far. My first week was last week and I just raced daily B Laguna Seca in the Alfa 155 (Love the car) and now am racing daily C Autopolis still in the Alfa (It's cool to be different) 7 and I really don't have a negative to say about my experience so far. Long may it continue.

I don't know if anyone else feels the same but when I was in the B rating category for me the driving was civilised then I moved upto group A and my good its a diffrent atmosphere. Very aggressive behaviour and dirty tricks. But I don't get to play as much as I would like I could be wrong
Just had a thought this could be because I'm up front all the time.e in B category And A group I usually start mid pack, mid is the worst place to start first corner and 50% think they can win the race on the first corner

I'm working on getting up to speed in ACC to hopefully be able to have better racing. GT7 isn't going to get better.

Since Autopolis is in Asia, you'd think the pronunciation is even, so Au-to-po-lis, as opposed to Au-TOP-o-lis. Really don't know, though. It really is a strange one.

I really dont get it, why stefounzy snapped that bad. Usually he is a very clean driver from TX3 as far as i know, with own twitch channel! maybe something happened before this race, who knows. But you can ask him on his channel

Indeed, DeadEyeDelboy could have asked me why, but it's easier to put on a "Judge Dredd" costume and make a little video with a thumbnail and a catchy title. It's dishonest, but it gets views. (I don't think it's really about getting views, I'm teasing him, but as long as he leaves this video online despite my explanations, I'll pretend that's the case)

All you do is moan it's like you don't even like the game. Maybe try something else? Gran Turismo is not a SIM game it's a car collecting game there is always going to be rammers and people who don't take it seriously even if they are actually quite fast at the game

I refuse to follow a gt TH-camr who refers to himself as “we” ….f1 drivers say “we” as they are in a team of mechanics,strategists,technicians,physios etc…You are just 1 guy playing on his own so why say “we” Just say “I am going into the pits” “ I have a lot of work to do” “I qualified 9th” Don’t copy Super Gt and don’t try to be posh…be original
With all due respect, if I want to say ‘we’ then I will, because when I say ‘we’ I’m talking about the community that has been built around the channel and the support people give it. I can’t barely think of any GT TH-camr who doesn’t say ‘we’ when talking about their channel 🤷♂️
