Louis' voice is like every thing bright happy shiny and sweet in the world... Because wow he is soooooooooo damn and carries all the choruses effortlessly
They sound so good together. Liam = biggest range, carrys the high harmonies. Zayn = the runs, not just high notes but natural at ad libs. Harry = adds power and depth to the songs, rockier voice, lots of character to his voice. Niall = beautiful tone and so good at harmonizing with all the boys. And Louis = my favourite, such a unique and underrated voice, you can pick him out even when they are all singing, carrys the choruses adding layers of rasp and sweet high tones, sound particularly good harmony with Harry and Zayn.

in my own opinion i think when it comes to singing the chorus with all of them, louis' voice always prevails specially during accoustics. zayn and harry have a great vocal power when it comes to high notes. liam has a beautiful register voice in every verse and his falsetto and niall has a very distinctive and unique voice, he could do both the low and high register of his voice are beautiful to hear.
