I have watched this video so many times and I think I’m going to recreate it. I just did your strawberry cow BUT cut my medium length nails down shorter than I’ve ever done since I 1st started and LOVE them! Oan… Sometimes us nail enthusiast have to remember that we don’t have to have the exact product all the time! I only do my nails and the amount of products I have is ridiculous! It makes more sense to create what I need with what I have. I’ve been doing my nails for almost 5 years and have been watching you for almost as long. And when that encapsulation layer went on? 🤩🤩🤩 Your mom is one lucky lady to have had these beautiful works of art on her nails! I really can't decide if they look better matte or shiny. They each give a different look but they're both awesome. Maybe shiny for the reflective glitter? Either way, WOW!!!!!

These turned out so beautiful. I love the depth, and the way it all came together at the end. I have a hard time layering colors without overwhelming the design. I think it looked better glossy, just because the sparkle would have been muted matte. You are so talented. I have to try this now. My last Galaxy attempt sucked, but maybe trying it this way will work for me. Thanks for this video.❤❤🥰🌌

I don't have a milky white gel polish , I could add some top coat or base coat to a white gel polish to get that softer white colour

Find some pearl and iridescent polishes, glitters, eyeshadows…put down some black and get some white, mix it with clear and then play around. You don’t need the exact products here 🥰

This is the 1st time I've seen galaxy nails that actually look like a galaxy.
Love your work! Question: I find with "cat eye" "galaxy" all these types of magnetic gels, I have to flash cure after each nail to keep the particles in place after using the magnet. I have at least 4 different brands of this type of gel and regardless of how thick or thin their particular formulas, I need to do this. Have you found this? You are not curing each time and they seem to be staying put, so I'm wondering... By the way, I always have a base coat, hard gel base, gel polish base etc with a sticky layer before the addition of these gels- I'm not adding them directly to a dry nail, of course. Thanks!

I use Jimmy gel for sheer white. The natural or boomer. Cause I don't have a milky polish. It works.

SAAMMMEE!!! I do nails but it's harder to do these kinds of sets on yourself. Idk, I might try this on me tho lol. I don't work in salon (I live in a VERY small town) so I only do nails for a couple fam members. Maybe I'll try this on one of them. But ya, agreed! None of the girls around my town could pull this off. It'd be like patchwork colors and painted on, white and yellow stars ⭐️ 🤣 swear!!!!

I have to say that the matte top coat erases the depth in my opinion. You lose the true opalescence that you worked so hard to create. The glossy top coat works much better for the dimensional look you were going for.

I love how you work in layers to get that realistic look. And that peachy orange toward the end was the perfect touch. Also there is too much glitter and sparkle to not do these shiny! Lol I LOVE a matte nail but shiny topcoat was the way to go here. It shows the details better.

I won't ever be able to have some of my own, but it sure is nice to know!! I know a Woman who does very complicated braids, weaves, long, beautiful extensions, all by herself, and she says it's a super long process, and takes 'FOREVER', but she always looks SPECTACULAR!! maybe i'll tell her about YOUR HAIR, see if she could do something like that!!

As a nail tech, I'm considering ditching the acrylic and going full on hard gel. I work from home and the acrylic smell is overwhelming most times. I haven't tried the drops that apparently lessen the strong smell, but what are your thought on this? I've followed you for years and your design and shaping are to die for. I just want to please me clients but also be mindful of product costs!

What builder gel are you using to encapsulate? Mine isn't super clear. In fact it's quite cloudy. Could be contaminated but I'm willing to try a different brand.

It looked so simple with the dabbing of "random colors" in "random places", but WOW did they come out amazing! I am in awe.
