The problem with the Ravens and Lamar was the media and many so-called experts crowned Lamar KING before he won the Superbowl! They were reading their own press clippings and DIDNOT prepare correctly! If they had prepared, the players would've known not to taunt, not to headbutt in front of the ref, not to rough Patrick Mahomes, to run the ball more. Reid out-coached Harbaugh!
Is the Kansas City Chiefs fan, I admit there were some definite blown calls. But there was also some blown calls on the Ravens. The penalty problem that the Ravens were having was the personal penalties. I get it they wanted to play tough and be a physical team but they tried to take it too far and they got five personal penalties against them for it😂 Kansas City has a defense that his number two and when the Ravens decided that they were going to be a pass-happy team, they played right into what Kansas City does best. Baltimore got out coached and outplayed

Lions beat themselves! They lost because of a freak play, a fumble, and a coach that decided to show everyone how aggressive he was by not taking two field goals and instead going on 4th down! I knew at half time when he took the field goal and the talking heads were surprised he did given how "Aggressive" he is, that during second half he would let his ego get in the way and try to prove that he is still the aggressive coach! Had he taken those two field goals instead of going on 4th down, they might not have lost!
Respectfully, I don’t wanna hear what Lamar has or doesn’t have any anymore because he had everything that he needed this year to get him to the Super Bowl and win it Patrick Mahomes consistently has shown whether he has receivers or not that he truly has that winning spirit, that winning mentality that you cannot be taught. He is doing it this year with nobody at receiver. He’s just including everybody which is what you should do. Football is a team sport. It’s not about they don’t have a Stefon Diggs. They don’t have a Justin Jefferson. They don’t have AJ Brown they don’t have Adams. Etc etc. nah….
Out of the 2 games, I feel that Lamar and the Ravens severely choked in the biggest game of the year. Everyone keeps putting Lamar on a pedestal with the greats when he continues to fall short. He is similar to Josh Allen in the fact that he's a phenomenal physical talent that always falls short. The Lions are winners, not chokers, as nobody expected them to win their division much less compete in the conference championship. Kudos to Campbell for instilling a new successful culture in Motown. I would , however, be remiss if I failed to mention that the Detroit defense totally shit the bed in the second half. Note to teams hiring coaches...... Arron Glenn isn't there yet.
Maybe no one expected them to win the division three years ago. But heading into this season they were the favorites to win the division especially since Arod left. They had a great season but Lions severely choked too up 17 there was no excuse not to win. This team could be in the same fate as the eagles given that they will be losing the offensive coordinator so who knows when they will have this chance again.
@hasani2723 Yes, that's a great point about losing their coordinator s . I will say that they were looked at as a rising talent in their division. However, I think that the Vikings were ranked higher by most and expected to take the division because of Justin Jefferson, TJ Hockenson, and the emergence of Jordan Addison. Whereas Det and GB were going to supposedly be battling for second place, they unexpectedly flipped the script and had great years, and Minnesota went down with Cousins.

He wrapped it up, with a cute little bow, not once but twice. It carries the same weight as two huge turnovers. It's different from a 3 out and a punt. Instead of a jab, it's an uppercut! I give props to the 49'ers, they out adjusted us at halftime, and they never ever quit. That said, with the age and the amount of talent on the Lions, this is far from a one and done. Thank you, everyone not from Detroit, for the love this season. It means a lot that there were people out there rooting for us!

So bad so that the world thought they were gonna choke.... myself included.. now making adjustments at halftime is more valuable than most realize...n we are a pretty good adjustment team... when we play our ball there's nothing we can't accomplish... Too many people knew. They had to flip the script, but the 2nd game went off as planned. Dropped balls, ref calls, wide open receivers..Definitely scripted
Dans aggressive crazy calls are what got us here in the first place so you gotta take it when it works and when it doesn't. I think Josh Reynolds dropping two or three first down balls was another issue. We would've have converted one of those 4th downs
Analytics are not based on situational football. It's based on overall seasonal results. When you're on the road, up by 17 pts against "the best team" in the league and a chance to go up by 20 points the analytics will tell you to kick the field goal. It's a one off game. You lose and the season is over.
Not really. They were up 2 touchdowns and should have converted the one in the 3rd quarter before the wheels fell off. The receiver dropped the ball.... then dropped another perfect pass on the next drive. The coaching was perfect honestly
Great games today! That Aiyuk catch, people are flaming Purdy for it and you can tell it’s because they only watched highlights. You can literally see the DB on Aiyuk push him back which draw the p.i. and completely stopped Aiyuk from having a chance at it.
I love how you completely glossed over the fact that the ravens O line was holding the Chiefs D line most of the game. And it was pretty egregious on that long pass to flowers in the first place. Everyone seems to think that the Chiefs get all the calls, but quite honestly they really don't if you actually study the game. Jackson had plenty of chances to put that game away and didn't.
I agree. THERE ARE NO EXCUSES. I was po’ed about the missed PIs but there were so many missed opportunities…blew a 24-7 lead…abandoned the run…put Lamarball into play which ensured the loss. Thanks Mike…
Kick the ball tie the game. Then they waste so much time trying to make a touchdown. down by 10 take the three points, preserve your timeouts and hoping your defense can stop. Either way. You still got to score 10 relying on an onside kick was stupid
Lamar choked big time...and Ravens forgot about the run. This was something I expected from my Eagles, but not the Ravens. Running the football was a major part of their offense. It opened up their passing game. Detriot beat theirselves but their also a young team, so that was inexperienced coaching, and the moment was too big for the players. Kudos to the lions though for a great season. They got some playoff experience, so i look forward to watching them play next season. Keep your heads up Lions fans. Truth is, the 49ers and their fan base have had to go through YEARS of being knocked out of HUGE GAMES when it mattered most! It's one thing to get into the playoffs, but it's a whole different kind of beast pushing through to the Super Bowl! I know you guys are waking up today feeling absolutely terrible, but good things are on the horizon for the Detroit Lions! Look at it this way.. you guys are exactly where the 49ers have been for the last decade! It takes time! It takes dedication! But most of all.. it takes some humility before a team can push through and represent their city in the Super Bowl. You will be in the Super Bowl within the next 3 to 5 years! And you'll remember this comment and it will ALL be worth it when it's all said and done. Right now is our time! 49ers have been knocking on the door for another Lombardi for literally the last decade! We've lost multiple NFC Title games, multiple Super Bowls (in that span..) and now it's our time to kick the Swifties in the mouth! Much love Lions fans! #NINERGANG ⛏🏆

This is so devastating for the Detroit Lions. Now my girlfriend and my mom are both crying because they are both Detroit Lions fans and when you're a die-hard fan of a team who has been as pathetic as the Lions, it's understandable to be crying after a loss like loss. I know how it feels because I'm a Bengals fan and I know how it feels. I know my mom is gonna be okay but my girlfriend do, I'm really worried about her. I'm disappointed too about the Detroit Lions, too, but my girlfriend is taking this loss very hard and is very emotional. I don't know what to do
Tell her this is football there are never guarantees, but thats the fun in it its okay to get wrapped up in emotions BUT thats what brings fans back each year the chance to do it all over again and see where the chips fall after “improving”
What's her favorite physically active hobby? When my team loses or gets bounced I go skate & always feel like a weight has been lifted from my spirit afterward.
Lions fans I was rooting you guys. Hold your heads up and be proud. It’s nothing but great things in the future for the organization. Hats off for a great season. A Titans fan.
I think with Campbell’s aggressive style, it’s extremely easy to point out where it fails, then turn around and say “that was a great call” when it works. Had they been able to get that first down and ultimately score a TD, the game would have effectively been over. Have to take the good, and accept it’s not going to always work. After that, the wheels fell off, aided by two wild receptions. That one-handed catch extended the 49ers drive, and it was one of those momentum shifting games we often see. The Lions getting here wasn’t fool’s gold, and really their rebuild is ahead of schedule. Their personnel deficits on defense are usually a recipe for a short playoff run. Still much to prove, but most teams have to go through this before they get that ring. I think they’ll be in the Championship mix going forward for a bit.
Both the LIons and the Packers had similar ends to the season. I wanted to have them face off in this game so bad. That being said they both did better then anyone expected this year. Hats off
Idc if u dislike the chiefs, watch games unbiased when u review the officiating. U said nothing of the many no calls for the ravens defense. I have no dog in the game, i just wanted to see a great game. The ravens beat themselves and the refs had little to do with the outcome
Dan Campbell is another Brandon Staley. There’s aggressive , then there’s stupid aggressiveness that simply hand the opponent the win. The Niners simply hang around the 4th down odds are in their favor. This is a moronic coaching lost at the worst possible time.
I wanted the Dolphins to hire him as head coach after he was interim head coach. He did a great job with that situation and the fans and players loved him. I will always be a fan.
Some of the Lions horrifically timed dropped receptions hurt bigtime, but Campbell not kicking those two field goals to me is the biggest reason for the loss.
@@apriltiff6452just your average rigged football game from the National Fixed League. They will continue giving their golden mahomes plenty of more superbowls. Not worth it to watch these scripted games
So, I am 56yrs old, and except for the years I was in the suck, I've watched at least every cowboy game I could. And about any other decent game. Here's what: In the past, if the ref's made a bad call, later in the game the other team would usually benefit from a get back call, making all just about equal. But, with replay now, the ref's seem to just make the call so it can get challenged, and let NYC figure it out. I think less games get turned on a bad ref call now, but it needs to include pass interference to make it as good as possible. You should be able to challenge any pass you want if there is, or is not PI called. I don't know how 2 min would be handled, but so many games are turning on PI, or PI not called.
Harbaugh should've given them Lamar left, Lamar right, scramble, pass. Then, more of the same. Heck, they should of had him at Mike Linebacker on defense.
i like how you point out the Chiefs missed calls... BUT COMPLETELY IGNORE THE RAVENS ONES LIKE CMON MAN stop giving these people things to complain about when both teams had equal amount of shit calls and we just flat outplayed them
The only bad call in the ravens game from the ones you took was the Isiah likely holding non call. For the interception it was bang bang and it was thrown into a crowd of three defenders and Isiah likely never had a chance on it. Also the ball was picked right as the contact happened.
It was scripted to be Ravens Vs 49ers in the Super Bowl but because we were all catching on to the secrets in th3 super bowl logo, they changed it to the stupid Chiefs winning.
The Kansas City Chiefs had so much referee help this year it was kind of ridiculous without that help I doubt they are in this championship game at all they won games they should've lost and that's a fact. If you have any doubt at all just look at the last offensive play in the Minnesota Vikings game last offensive play the Vikings. There's something fishy in the NFL
Those refs punched that ball out of zay flowers hands and also made Lamar throw a pick . Get real I suggest you look up league total flags per each team all year
Harbaugh is a really smart coach, and he has excellent assistants. Bet that you will see a bunch of McCaffery, and sitting back in zone. It is easier to get open in man to man. Sitting back in zone, those receivers will not get open. If you can keep Kelce in check, that's it.
Anyone familiar with NFL playoff football knew this would be a close game. Of course Jackson will get the bulk of the blame but had Flowers not tried to play "hero ball" and just went down at the 2 yard line I have no doubt they would have scored.
That fumble and throwing in triple coverage was brutal for the Ravens!
Those 6 points on the NO Field goals choices of Dan Campbell was screaming at him: You're gona miss me when I am gone, gone, gone. And Campbell Did!
The NFL knew we caught on to the conspiracy theory so they had to switch it up 😂
100% that's what happened, now the National Fixed League acting like the logo was just a "coincidence"
what logo?@@ShawnFX
And they still make it terrible by making it the Chiefs in, not the Lions.
I agree
@trey740 The colors in the Super Bowl logo is purple and dark red. Colors of Ravens and SF
That’s what happens when the Goofy Ravens celebrate too Early 😂😂 dancing in the locker room after beating the Texans 😂
Is the Kansas City Chiefs fan, I admit there were some definite blown calls. But there was also some blown calls on the Ravens.
The penalty problem that the Ravens were having was the personal penalties. I get it they wanted to play tough and be a physical team but they tried to take it too far and they got five personal penalties against them for it😂
Kansas City has a defense that his number two and when the Ravens decided that they were going to be a pass-happy team, they played right into what Kansas City does best.
Baltimore got out coached and outplayed
I mean the real season MVP, did the “hail Barry” and literally passed a ball to himself for what almost 15 yards. Leads the team is throwing yards and rushing yards hahahaha
That Raven’s o-line was holding all day and was never called. But the refs threw flags for the softest holding calls ever, back-to-back, on Trey Smith.
There were definitely not. Your team is the nfls golden team. They will make sure you win.
@@Anonymous2.2 sure yeah, makes sense why the chiefs d-line was held on basically every baltimore offensive play. shit was only close because them refs werent on yall's head about offensive holding like ours.
Your center was constantly offsides yet no calls on him, amazing.
When you @5:55 slam the brakes on... and get rear ended in the end zone, it's not pass interference... One of the oldest tricks in the book, an object in motion tends to stay in motion. Complaining about that one, is just noise.
Might is key word
There’s being gutsy and then there’s being reckless
He was reckless
Lions played that way all year.
@@coachbb69except for afc teams
@@coachbb69 There's a time and a plate to be gutsy. The NFCCG IS NOT that palce and time, ESPECIALLY when you have the lead at the half
You would have thought he'd learn from his mistake of continuously going for 2, but no. He doubled down on the insanity. He's a huge reason they lost
That throw into triple coverage is inexcusable. It's even more embarrassing of a loss because they had all the Ravens legends trying to hype them up
Respectfully, I don’t wanna hear what Lamar has or doesn’t have any anymore because he had everything that he needed this year to get him to the Super Bowl and win it
Patrick Mahomes consistently has shown whether he has receivers or not that he truly has that winning spirit, that winning mentality that you cannot be taught.
9:19 In all seriousness, that throw by Brock Purdy was an absolute DOT! Had the defender not crashed into Brandon Aiyuk
it would've been a perfectly thrown ball and would've most likely been a touchdown. But we know Mike.. you HATE us Niners!
Its nothing against u guys. I just have a friend whose an insufferable 49ers fan.
We all have those stories though. I used to want to fight every Cowboys fan on sight when I was younger lmao. Now I'm 40 though and I'm way more laid back. As much as I may clown Dallas a bit, it's all just in good fun the same way Dallas fans shit on the 49ers. It's not like I'd actually be over here mad if you guys went to the Super Bowl. In all honesty, with how long it's been, I'd actually be happy for you guys even though you've always been one of our biggest rivals. Much love though bro! Love your content. @@Mikerophone
Lions went out really sad
No, they should be proud. Nothing sad about their accomplishments this season.
There are times when it's okay to go balls out, there are other times when it's foolish. When you don't take those points, and you go 4 and out, you're literally gifting the other team momentum.
I don't know about other Lions fans but I wasn't expecting to even get to the championship game when the season started. This is still a great season!
You will never win a Super Bowl with that type of Coaching. Pathetic. He gave that game
away. Detroit should be in the Super Bowl.
That’s such a loser statement. No surprise coming from a Lions fan.
I@@johntate131alright and what team are you a fan of?
Life long 49er fan... It's nice to see the Lions fans are being solid about their team.... Campbell got them playing to their strengths n turned the team around... He is a fairly new head coach and this will be a learning experience for him.... Now on the other side....49ers were playing horrendous on all three sides of the ball in the first half.... So bad so that the world thought they were gonna choke.... myself included.. now making adjustments at halftime is more valuable than most realize...n we are a pretty good adjustment team... when we play our ball there's nothing we can't accomplish... I think Purdy throwing for almost 300 in a half showed that... The Ravens n lions will lick their wounds n come back strong next year... On to the SB... Go Niners 🤘
First why Lamar throw in to triple coverage
And how much is he making?
These 2 games are proof, LATE PLAYOFF EXPERIENCE MATTERS!!!
The lions going for it on 4th twice when they could have kicked two sure fire field goals nah there's something fishy going on here
That's because the coaches in the National Fixed League are all in on these rigged games. Open your eyes brother, this is ENTERTAINMENT, they can legally fix these games
Facts!! Dolphins fan and wife is a hawks fan we were both all in for the lions. Sad to see them go out like that. But lions fans should be proud of the turn around they've had!! Super impressive! And a promising future.
Dan Campbell lost them the game. I feel so bad for lions fans. they may never reach this point for another 30 years
Absolutely not. The defense and wrs lost us the game. Dan plays like that. We know it. Thats how we got here. He doesn’t regret the call and neither do I.
Gibbs lost them the game. dude helped me win my fantasy league this year. Sucked to see him fumble. As a niners fan, the whole game changed that moment they recovered that fumble. The slope was getting slippery right before the fumble, but it sealed the deal. 49ers are a better team . Goff isn't that dude. He gets them close but like Jimmy g, he's not the one.
@@kenw2225Lions should've kept running Gibbs on the outside edge. They had the advantage there bcuz of his speed. Montgomery runs between the tackles better than him bcuz of his frame
@@kenw2225nah the 49ers lose that game if Campbell decides to kick field goals instead of go for it on 4th down. You keep saying "better team" but I doubt you were saying that at half time. Because you were getting smoked.
That was the closest as the lions came to playing in Super Bowl 😮😢 see u in another 30 years 😮😢
I have been a Lions fan for 40+ years and although I am disappointed I am simply not mad at Dan Campbell. He coached this game exactly how he has coached every other game in the last 3 years. Sometimes his aggression works out...sometimes it doesn't. Would I have preferred to kick at least one of those field goals? Yes. But I am not the coach. The 49'ers had trouble stopping the run all through the game. Until then. Lol.
I am disappointed that they arent gonna be in the Super Bowl....but I am very pleased that there is a lot to look forward to with this team. It's been a long time since any of us could say that.
They just had to kick those field goals.
Lol
Yeah, I lived I SF in the 80s so still like the 49ers but I was ½ rooting for the Lions fans. But Campbell got macho at 4th down twice & BLEW THE GAME.
The Superbowl theory comes to an end 😔😔😔
Too many people knew. They had to flip the script, but the 2nd game went off as planned. Dropped balls, ref calls, wide open receivers..Definitely scripted
Lions kicker is like 4/9 from 50 yards out or somethin
Campbell cost the Lions the game. ..That loss is totally on him.
Dan Campbell was to aggressive going for it twice on 4th down.
Not really. They were up 2 touchdowns and should have converted the one in the 3rd quarter before the wheels fell off. The receiver dropped the ball.... then dropped another perfect pass on the next drive. The coaching was perfect honestly
@@brianshort2101When you go for fourth downs this each much eventually the odds will catchup to you. See Brandon Staley.
Great games today! That Aiyuk catch, people are flaming Purdy for it and you can tell it’s because they only watched highlights. You can literally see the DB on Aiyuk push him back which draw the p.i. and completely stopped Aiyuk from having a chance at it.
I was pulling for the lions but man… they really shit the bed on this one. Kinda gave me the New England, Atlanta Super Bowl vibes..
Dan Campbells poker hand: 2 and 10
Dan Campbell: “All In”
I love how you completely glossed over the fact that the ravens O line was holding the Chiefs D line most of the game. And it was pretty egregious on that long pass to flowers in the first place. Everyone seems to think that the Chiefs get all the calls, but quite honestly they really don't if you actually study the game. Jackson had plenty of chances to put that game away and didn't.
The Purdy game manager joke was my all time favorite in a Mike vid
Straight the fuck up had to give it to him even here from the bay 😭😭💀
What happened to fundamental football management, properly utilizing your best players/strategies, or taking the points?!
Flowers fumble was a costly.
No calls for interfence.

You'll have a great team that will be good for years to come.

As a die hard Niner fan since the early 80s when I fell out of my mothers womb, hold your heads high! You have an incredible football team!
Truth is, the 49ers and their fan base have had to go through YEARS of being knocked out of HUGE GAMES when it mattered most! It's one
thing to get into the playoffs, but it's a whole different kind of beast pushing through to the Super Bowl! I know you guys are waking up today
feeling absolutely terrible, but good things are on the horizon for the Detroit Lions! Look at it this way.. you guys are exactly where the 49ers
have been for the last decade! It takes time! It takes dedication! But most of all.. it takes some humility before a team can push through and
represent their city in the Super Bowl. You will be in the Super Bowl within the next 3 to 5 years! And you'll remember this comment and it will
ALL be worth it when it's all said and done. Right now is our time! 49ers have been knocking on the door for another Lombardi for literally the
last decade! We've lost multiple NFC Title games, multiple Super Bowls (in that span..) and now it's our time to kick the Swifties in the mouth!
Much love Lions fans!

F both of these teams

Harbaugh should've given them Lamar left, Lamar right, scramble, pass. Then, more of the same. Heck, they should of had him at Mike Linebacker on defense.

Hey Mike. With Dan cambells questionable play calling does it make that Dallas Detroit game look less bad on the cowboys?
Anyone familiar with NFL playoff football knew this would be a close game. Of course Jackson will get the bulk of the blame but had Flowers not tried to play "hero ball" and just went down at the 2 yard line I have no doubt they would have scored. And the game likely would have gone into overtime, where it's anyone's game
