Ross you should definitely try Vince Camuto Virtu. It’s in a black bottle and same style as the “for men” but waaaaay better. Trust me on this one, solid hidden gem 😊

When I saw you examining the VC Solare, I was eager to see what you'd say. I'm glad you enjoyed it! In all my years of wearing cologne, I never really discovered a cologne that matched "me". Sort of like a hairstyle that looks great on some, but not so much on myself. I had always wanted a scent that wasn't ubiquitous, complimented my vibe, and had a smell I personally enjoyed. VC Solare has become that signature scent for me. When someone asks me what cologne I'm wearing, they usually seem genuinely interested. It's never been just a generic compliment. It's more like, "You smell so good! What is that?" It's garnered more positive reactions than anything else I've worn, and I've yet to have someone tell me they don't care for it. I bought Vince Camuto Solare when it launched at the start of my fragrance journey. I loved it and wore it to work everyday. I still have about 15 mil from that bottle and I love smelling it from time to time. I have around 100 fragrances now so it doesn't get much if any wear now but I still like it.
I knew you would like that VC. I had subscription to Birdscent and I immediately liked that VC and went and purchased a bottle after I got me a decant.
I too found VC Solare at Burlington a few months ago. I was surprised as well about how good it smelled. Definitely looking forward to wearing in spring/summer. Not many reviews on it.
I have both F by Ferragamo and Solare. I enjoy them both. Solare gives me Ultra Zest vibes for sure. Longevity is about 5-6 hours on me, so I carry a decant when I wear it out. 100% worth getting IMO.

I think the tell tell difference is the painted black bottom on F Black vs the clear bottom on F. Solare is definitely orange creamsicle with not the best performance but a little less synthetic than PR Ultrared.

I picked up VC Solare a little bit ago. Same 100ml. At first smell I thought of PR Ultra Red Man. However, in a side by side, I found Ultra Red Man to be sweeter, thicker and more Amber. 😎🤙🏽👊🏽
I've smelled F and F Black before and if I remember correctly, I preferred the Black. Had an interest in picking up samples of Vince Camuto for a while now and one of the samples in my late Christmas haul is a Vince. But its Terra instead of this. It was a toss up still and Terra won. So this may be in the March-April haul.

They have these brands of their clothes that put out mens fragrances such as Departwest, BKE, Outpost Makers, etc.. I just purchased a Departwest fragrance as an impulse buy. Fairley cheap at 27.00. Hey my man, what are your thoughts on the classic CK Eternity edt? It is one of my absolute favorite classic scents. I also have the EDP from a few years ago. I know I am in the minority here, but I like the EDT alot better. The EDP is cloyingly sweet to the point, I have a hard time wearing it.

The Davidoff tangerine & jasmine is ostensibly a women's frag, but I think it passes as unisex quite well. I got some and like it very much. Nice when you want something light. Will pick up the grapefruit and sage eventually.
Last year I ordered an "UNBOXXED" bottle of F-Black from FragX,.... but I received F..... and I knew it the instant that I sprayed it on. And since I didn't have F until that moment, instead of returning it..... I just kept it. I liked F, but not as much Black. Anyway 🤷♂️ 👃😎

I was rocking Vince Camuto back in 2005, 2006. Very good fragrance. I also had Salvatore Ferragamo 'Incanto' in the rotation then.

The way I distinguish F and F Black bottle is the bottom base is blackish clear and the other is completely clear.
