I am excited to watch and learn urdu through your videos..i will find time to watch it all and put in note too..may Allah bless you always.in sha Allah!
Thank you Sir for the wonderful explanation, I know all of the Urdu alphabets as an Arab it's easy for me but ,would you tell me how to distinguish between ر and ڑ in sounds , I know that ڑ is more stressed in pronunciation , but still don't know how to write them in some words according to their sounds. Regards
You are right, ( ڑ ) is more stressed. There are some word which need such stress like Pahaar ( پہاڑ) mountain. To say ( ر) we simple say 'ray' sound, whereas for ( ڑ) we will start with small sound of 'a' like 'aRay' to generate stress and some bend on the edge of the tongue. Thx
one of the best lessons , i can learn with this for sure and the method and understanding is made easy along with the tone of voice is at a good speed to learn, thank you for sharing this and to help us learn urdu. Your writing is lovely and i do like the way you are teaching and repeating the sound. You are a very patient teacher keep up the good work,

Masooma ali Syeda Language learning is not a good idea when we link it with time. It is life long process. The important is to have progress after each day/week / month. Complete the available lessons and repeat it again after some short gap. During learning apply it on your own work for which you are learning the language. When you will apply learning on your own work you will be motivated and can work hard that will take you to the next stage. Find someone around you who can encourage you in this mission.
With the word bakri, I see that you draw "r" downward, and then "i" above this. Is this purely a font and stylistic choice, or can you write the glyphs in more of a horizontal fashion? Thankyou for your tutorials. I'm the 10001th subscriber :)
The "Nastaliq Typeface" has different styles. One of them mostly used in old Urdu books would usually have the last "detached" letter of a word written above the second last letter, at the end of a line or somewhere in the middle. In some cases, the whole word would be written above the last letter of the word before. In this "old" style, there is much less consistency of forms as compared to the modern one; you would see the same letter written slightly differently across the same line of a text. Moreover, the more the density of words per line, the more these detached letters could be written above the second last letter. The modern style has what you call the 'horizontal fashion' and is totally consistent. Handwriting is more like the "old" style that is you may write the detached letters in both ways. Vippen Bhatia Hi Vippen BhatiaI apologize for late reply. I missed this comment. Please note that when it comes in the end it will give "i" sound especially in feminine case like KURSI(chair), otherwise it gives sound of "ay".

haha.
(بکری)
Bak-ri
only four letters.
how to differntiate between the use of "wao" and "bay"?? like we used bay in zuban..y not wao??
Wao is like Jao in (to go), جاؤ
EDUCATION PYRAMID UAE if we don't write pesh on zay it will become zaban but needed is zuban
amandeep bharti shdfjgfbngdadgjhgvffjk
Khhdgmg my zahrahgjguhh
Wao sounds like W, V with Alif it sounds like O, while Bay sounds like B.
I have a question how do we know when to use toe or te
we can write BABA with zer instead of alif. what is the difference ??
do you mean zabar then it will give sound when we say bUk bUk
It is when we want longer aa sound
It is when we want longer aa sound
Thanks
Thank you
You are a great teacher. I had a doubt. Why didn't you use tasdeed in Chammach?
I deliberately avoid using them as focus is spoken here and these are not common in day to day scripts.
can i get image or pdf of the all the letters and their words?
I am trying to find time for such requirement, but always fail.
Please explain same sound letters....where and how to use?
You can learn by reading Urdu script with audio simultaneously.
Thnks sir for video
But sir ek baat mujhe samj nhi lagi ke jo shoti ye hai wo kbhi ye ki sound deti hai aur kabhi i ki jaise rail jha pr ye ki sound aur gadi main i ki sound plz sir expalin
